That druid uninstalled the game, unsubscribed from every hearthstone RUclips channel, removed every trace of himself from the internet and is now living the rest of his life in a moose carcass in the frozen Alaskan wastelands after that game

The only downside of renathal- void contract destroys 20 cards instead of 15

I mean if you somehow managed to play it on turn 1 with an empty hand sure.
But you keep more cards too. 20 leftover is better than 15 leftover right? That being said you draw cards before you get to pull off void contract anyway…
Considering starting hands at 4 or 5 you either delete 13 from opponent and 17 from yours. That is if you get it on turn 1.
It gets weird depending on who has more draw the more the game goes along.
@@OmegaIL yep, the earliest you could possibly do it is turn 3 on the coin but then you have already drawn 7 cards minimum. So it would be 17 or 16 cards leftover for you (can’t remember if it rounds up or down) and 12 left in your opponent’s deck. Assuming they didn’t draw additional cards other than the start of their turns and initial hand.
That’s interesting to know that Void Contract destroys the top half of your deck, it’s not random.

Isn't this play massively disastrous if he has spot removal for the 7/4, he can get 28 power on board from only having 5 before. Even if he doesn't have removal, the statue has a 1/5 chance to blow up the gigafin body and make that happen immediately

Big priest doesn’t really run sniper spells very often so it was relatively safe, they need to focus a lot more on rez effects. I personally probably still would have used a defile but it wasn’t a bad play

Hearthstone I swear is programmed to trigger you. Before he overdrew the Bloodbloom I knew it was coming. I knew with almost 100% certainty. I am really good at predicting misfortune but in Hearthstone I am almost 100% accurate.

Signing a void contract seems more shadow priest than warlock when you think about it.
I don't agree. Signing a void contract is very evocative of selling your soul to the devil to gain power. That is pretty much the most Warlock thing imaginable. Shadow Priests also get power from the void but their power comes from void worship not from bargains.
@@Evan_Schaefering the void isn’t the type to offer bargains at all. Warlocks use fel magic, even their shadow and fire spells are lorewise from a fel source. The card was just weirdly named.
