Apparently a lot of people didn't know about "the sum first N natural numbers" thing.
For the purpose of Hearthstone:
*Fatigue damage = {Draw × (draw+1)} / 2*
If opponent has no card in deck, and Roffle play 3 Coldlight Oracle, then they both draw 6 cards.
The damage would be
= {6×(6+1)}÷2
= (6×7)÷2
= 42÷2
= 21 damage.
I think you over estimate 99% of HS players. Why is there a treasure burried between the Draw and (draw+1) ? Yarrrr...
Wow beating a handbuff paladin with mill rogue is kind of insane
I mean, vanish is really good against them and so are the Stall cards in general, i dont think its a Bad matchup
It used to be hard matchup prior to cards like swindle, Cloak of Shadows and stuff, but now there is much breathing room till Valeera.
Actually the matchup against aggressive decks is not as bad as you may thing, as long as they are board centric. Against direct damage oriented aggro it is more complicated. In addition, while being quite aggressive, handbuff paladin does take a few turns to set up, so all this makes handbuff paladin not that terrible of a matchup for mill rogue.
The only concern should be the charge minions.
its not insane at all, even against odd paladin mill rogue is good into against board centric like the other guy said. its mostly bad into aggro decks that directly hit face like pirate warrior especially since their cannon minions pierce cloak of shadows
I mean mill rogue is a pretty big brain deck. He played that first game extremely well

yeah i was playing face hunter cause i qued into 2 mill rogues on my maly priest so i just tech'd in 2 flares and wiped the floor with them
For real it's so obnoxious. I don't play too much agro so I just get farmed :(
@@toomuchd0g if you play a more control deck style id reccomend tech'ing in dirty rats or a heckle bot and a dirty rat if you play highlander, counters most combo decks and mill cause they all use the same murloc to mill. just make sure you kill it the same turn you pull them otherwise they can bounce it back to hand.

I would love to play those two you mention but I can't afford %90 of Roffle's decks so this one is actually a lot cheaper. It can even be considered budget priest killer

Add Crystal Cave quest to this set up, remove both heal minions one for taunt heal quilboar and other for quest. 5/5 coldlight OP
26:35 did anybody else see a few of the enemy minions move?
thats cuz he briefly (very briefly) hit the valeera portrait, making the computer think he wanted to attack, and when you attack the taunt minions get highlighted (which is what you saw). You can actually hear valeera say 'sign of death' or whatever the line is, which is what she says when you make her attack.
It’s a good deck but it just needs more card draw.
I just hit legend with this deck. I dropped counterfeit coins for gang ups instead though. Thanks man for this video!

honestly i would have liked to see the match unfold. roffle didnt had any other way to fill his deck so he would be taking dmg from the enemy minions and from the fatigue as well, im not sure it was 100% win

i can understand people asking about brann, its still a decent card and can be played on 3 if desperate, but why gang up? its just..bad
That handbuff paladin made the wort trades turn after turn. Makes me sad to see someone get carried to diamond simply by their deck.
I love this deck is fun and basically destroys combos for the opponent, only thing this deck is missing ( for me atleast ) was battlecries trigger twice, i get to the point where he has no cards left on his deck but im low health and out of spells to survive longer or my cost 1 cards to gain armor+heal, the on budget dust option is " Spirit of the Shark " rare card. ( double battlecries + it has stealth for 1 turn so you can play it 1 turn before you start to play oracle specially with Hollow Valeera and her pasive power you can play 2 Oracles and draw 8 cards to completely destroy his deck then fix your deck with Lab Recruiter 6 free cards so you don't fatigue ). The " i been playing HS everyday since 2014 option " is Brann Bronzebeard, doesn't have stealth but cost 3 instead of 4 like Spirit of the Shark the bad thing is you cant have 2 of these like Spirit of the Shark.
If you want to add 2 Spirit of the Shark to this deck i removed Swindle and Murloc Tastyfin feel free to remove something different but i don't recommend to remove any of the 0 cost cards since they really help getting to late game same thing for the 1 Cost cards.
Also one thing that has changed in the deck after all these months i believe is just " Cloak of Shadows " used to cost 3 now 4 not that big of a deal in my opinion.

If you enjoy playing Rogue and specially hearthstone for fun I recommend a Pogo-Hopper deck since it uses some of the cards shown on this video, deck is kind of old but fun, im sure there is a more updated version of a Pogo-Hopper deck but I use old cards for the deck and it works perfectly.

It's like losing to vaporize/potion of poly. Take comfort in the fact that the opponent has surely lost multiple games because of drawing a useless card. Granted it's probably less punishing in this deck, but secret mage also has ridiculous card draw, so idk.

How do you use the formula to calculate fatigue damage?

d: current fatigue damage
n: number of cards drawn
Lol, wouldn’t 5+6+7+8 etc be much easier than formula? I thought that’s quite intuitive
If the numbers are low enough then its worth it but a formula is handy in a situation they have an odd amount of health or shield
I look at the formula as follows: n = 2d + 1
where d = current fatigue damage
Is there any reason to not play secret passage? It seems like it would help you find your murlocks quicker

Why is armor vendor so good? I thought giving your opponent armor was bad
Most late game decks don't care about giving 4 armor to the opponent, but they need that 4 armor to survive until late game.
Would it be ok to swap either mixtures or shard for murloc vendor?
Edit: what about doomsayer? It makes post vanish easier or just plus 7 hp in early game

deathlord is really ok, because it is very good against aggro while synergising with the win condition, but dancing swords, no offense but seriously, it is severly outdated =)
Hey can somone explain fatigue more clearly the formula (N)(N+1)/2 doesn't make sense to me isn't it supposed to be (N) + (N+1)/2 instead of (N)x(N+1)/2 ?
If they draw 5 fatigue cards, its 1+2+3+4+5 damage, or 15 damage. (5)*(6)/2 is 15. You can think of it this way: for even numbers of cards drawn, ex: 1+2+3+4, there are pairs of 5 damage (4+1, 3+2), and there are 2 pairs, so its (n+1)*n/2. For odd numbers of cards drawn, the 5 card example, there are pairs of 6 damage, but there is one 3 left over, so 2 and a half pairs, so its still (n+1)*n/2.
So I'm gonna win every game if I use this deck?

I think Valera is a keycard in this deck, in the video I can’t think of any card does the same thing, extra turn+copy is just so perfect. (But I haven’t use it in any other deck for ages)

With deathlords? I guess they compensate for slowing you down against aggro, but in general you don't want cards that cost more than 2 in a deck that intends to draw an obscene number of cards (and wins by doing so).
