How is Vegas with its techno scene? I mean that sounds awesome, the venue you are describing (alley full of warehouses) . I have to admit the few times i went to Vegas with friends it was to do a lil gambling of course and to hit the clubs, amazing clubs, good sound, a lot of hot women btw but horrible music, one night it was Aoki, throwing cakes and all smh lol

God, I love him but his fx timing has been WORSE since the introduction of Model 1...never really was good at mixing but always an amazing show! And no one can argue with his old parties or production!
Hi 👋, I don't agree, mixing skills have always been his great strength, even with model1, he just changed a bit the way and style of using effects, filter, loops and tracks at the same time.
Hahahahaah-well we all have are opinions, but as a musician and person with natural timing I must say that his fx timing is off 90% of the time. I am 44 and have been seeing him since I was like 15: that's just my take on all those sets. Goldie is the same way with thing although he has been stellar since the invention of CDJs; I've seen Bad Boy Bill, and Jeff Mills trainwreck (Mills multiple times-even pretty much a whole closing set at the Movement festival), but no of that takes away from how amazingly awesome they all are!
@@naaaeah His timing isn't always 100% super accurate with drum machines or when putting basslines back after drops, saying "fx timing is off 90% of the time" is still over the top in my opinion. The timing instead of how he uses the filter with the bell is often optimal and always creates a really cool effect. Mills yes, he is objectively more precise with the timing of the drum machines and he is a master at that. That said however a DJ's mixing isn't all that and Hawtin excels at many things when it comes to mixing. But anyway, I respect your opinion ✌
No offense..but you werent paying close enough attention to his mixing (pre- beat sync, cdjs, traktor etc etc) then when you were younger if you are concluding he isnt good at mixing..and not apt comparisons..bad boy bill just slapped tracks back and forth in his heyday and Mills was off every set at some point..he didnt much care to be honest...more so interested in the set as a whole and had no problem taking chances with his mixes.
