There is a strobe light, in my sons room. It is from a Richie Hawtin show, around 94 in STL, MO. I was a rave promoter at the time.. Wasn't my party, but I was helping w/ it. We covered the entire warehouse in black plastic.. Everything completely black. He brought in hundreds of these little round stage strobes. We hung them all over. And that was it.. They had other strobes they could control. But as far as I remember, that was all the lighting. After that show, there was a strobe left hanging w/ its cord cut off.. I took it and still have it.. My son and I have 'dance parties' in his room w/ it :D.

Yep .. raved to all these fellas in tye early to late 90's in London .. Mills, May, Pullen, Atkins etc ... Last one I did was Heaven in London early 2000's and they were all there together .. Was like a farewell for me 😁..couldn't have been better...56 now but still listen daily to Detroit Techno ... my car has a fantastic sound system...I love it ❤😁
Yep he’s back playing harder again less minimal. Back to his roots to the decks effex 909 era. It’s outstanding! Absolute goosebumps listening to this.
He's only gotten better since I saw him live in the late 90s.. and it was pretty face-melting then to say the least. There's so much techno out there with none of RH's finesse. It takes a deft touch to wield such a blunt instrument so delicately. There aren't many other 'bangin techno' artists who get it at all.
@@Heuh999 Can't say I follow it closely because most of it isn't that good. My tastes have changed over the years too. Xenia is the newest one I have found - sounds good and looks great doing it :)

I think these days some of his sets are not the best of his level... maybe he is transitioning to something new? :D Anyways, this was one of this ones that I LOVE: amazing, very creative and above everything, with lots of energy and melodic complexities! A living legend.
