@@gabestowe5094 when it comes to visuals and the static part of the world, I think Ubisoft is second only to rockstar. But they really lack making the world few alive. The best we got so far in terms of feeling alive (in my opinion) is AC Origins.

During this "Parkour" you guys see how he doesn't move in an unidirectional form, (from point to point), he is going randomly on building and mot of the time it's not a jumping parkour, but more of a jumping on some houses' surface
How can you do those Unity dives so smoothly? Are those also modified by the mod?

But in all seriousness, no. The mod doesnt affect the dives, you just have to jump at the poles and hope Basim dives instead of landing on his feet.

I love how all Ubisoft could do is make wall ejects gain height and the parkour in this game would instantly be a rival to the likes of Unity and the Ezio games.
But we don't live in a perfect world.
Not at all. The Ezio games' jumping mechanic is manual. This is precisely what allowed to "Side Eject" in those games to begin with. To be able to jump off(while climbing a wall) at any moment, whether there was an object to land on or not. And the same concept translates to Backwards Ejects.
In Unity, Side Ejects, now known as "Side Hops", are entirely contextual to the enviroment. There has to be something you can land on at a specific distance and angle or Arno simply won't do it at all. And they remain as such in Mirage. Same concept translates to Backwards Ejects.
For Mirage to come even close to Unity, it would the Controlled Descent mechanic, the actual Side Hops and Dismounts of that game, or at least the ability to actually "free-run"(meaning, adding flair moves, like when vaulting over an object or little spin when climbing up a rooftop)... and all with the unique animations.
It would still be a far cry from the Ezio trilogy and Unity but it would make the parkour 10x more enjoyable easily

Make sure that you install the mod, it is pretty easy, there is a youtube video. The creator updates the mod pretty quickly. Also, he increased the sprint speed, but you don't have to turn it on. Without the eject mod, it is just Valhalla parkour

How do you use the dive to swing mechanic so consistently? This is really good.
for the swing at 0:43 i was trying to trigger it from the floor below that thing i was standing on but it wouldn’t trigger until i gained more altitude, you just have to be at least 1 story above the thing u wanna dive to and just gotta mess with the angles, it’s super weird since it’s triggered with parkour up+sprint so i can’t say for sure what triggers it besides being at least a story above it

Are you playing on PC or on PS5 ? It’s so cool and smooth I don’t know if I can play parkour like that in my PS4
PC, the height gaining ejects won’t be possible on ps4 but the dives and overall flow and smoothness of the game should be the exact same once you get used to the parkour system

That mod looks amazing I stopped playing the game because the parkour is pathetic with its wall/side ejects being so weak but you can see it's not a problem with the mod i just need to get a PC
stephan boudon, the creative director of ac mirage actuslly noticed and acknowledged the mod and even left a 👀 emoji in reaction to my video on the mod, would potentially see a change in the vanilla game

A game that requires mods isn't a good game. That fact being put aside- this shit is smooth and looks great. Too bad it's not vanilla and most AC fans are perfectly fine sucking off Ubisoft for releasing Mirage the way it is.
we’re sucking off bordeaux because they get what assassins creed is which you can’t say for the rest of ubi. also the homie @magnum.spider made an excellent showcase on mirages vanilla parkour so the game definitely doesn’t require mods to be a good game imo
