Making money earning and selling skins does not seem like a model I want to be apart of. I don't think there's going to a be a huge volume of skin sales, especially if they are just for looks. I was really excited about grabbing some land to make money but I don't think the typical non-land owner is going to feel apart of the economy.

It kind of confusing, Hopefully this will help ya. Matic and Eth are both networks or layers. Eth is a layer one and matic is a layer 2. Each also has a native token (matic&Eth). The land or skins are priced in usdc or Eth. However the game is built on or running on the polygon/matic layer. So you need to convert your usdc or Eth tokens to the matic type tokens. Each layer uses a different form of token for settlement for example. So when you convert Eth to the pologon/macic network it now is called wEth or wrapped Eth. Hopefully this helps you understand the concept better.

So many of these scam games coming out now. I guess at least this one seems to have some semblance of a game even if it looks like soemthing from a solo indy dev.
no, there will be a token but the token is just for the NFT skin market place. TBH is a bit weird in that sense. The distribution of $ will only to lands and is really not that much unless you own many many lands. If you own a land just do it cause you want your little spot out there.
The game itself looks amazing, I'm just not sure their Play to Earn model is going to work. Especially for landowners, the math just doesn't add up. You only get a percentage of cosmetic sales, think about how much volume would that really be? Players are going to buy their favourite cosmetics, then just play the game, they won't be trading them over and over. For an $8000 town plot, you won't get your ROI back for years, just do the math yourself. I admire their anti Pay2Win stance but I don't think it can work with Play 2 earn. If they made it a percentage of all resources gathered on your land or something then it would make sense. But they've stated they don't want any form of Pay2Win, it will be what makes people lose interest in the end.

I like the game and a state of it ( ALMOST 4 YERAS IN DEV). But i think they misplay the involvment on crypto in it... there is no motivation for ppl to play it in order to earn good loot.. i think skins are not enough for crypto revolution
