Yes sure did...locked up many. One guy in his 70's was a level four SP. He was convicted 3 prior times. We caught him and he was served with a 18 yr prison term. Was glad to take a SO or SP off the streets. One old Sgt said there's a cure for their "condition, one to the head, two to the chest".

I’m beginning to think that this girl’s lack of emotional relationship with her mother is very similar to the dynamic Jenn Soto had with her mom. I sense Jenn’s mother was distant and more concerned with her career aspirations than being there to educate Jenn in becoming a responsible mother. This leads me to think Jenn and Maddie probably didn’t have a nurturing connection either, since Jenn never learned those skills from her own mother. If this is so, then it’s not hard to surmise that Maddie looked to her abuser (Sterns) for love & protection.
I agree with everything you said! Even with Jenn pleading for MS’s return… she said “everything was fine, she had a great time at her bday” , which she didn’t. I would be yelling at media that I’m sorry and to come home so I can fix it. Jenn seems very distant & SS definitely preyed off of that! With every new caller or person from Sterns past, it makes the idea of Jen being totally ignorant of his behavior less fathomable for me. Everyone he had a history with sensed something was off and at some point distances from him in their own ways, yet Jen allowed him to get closer not just to her but her daughter. It’s mentioned all the time that we don’t need a smoking gun to form a rational opinion of one’s culpability in an event and my opinion is the threshold for Jen’s involvement gets more and more prevalent as time goes on.

That is so common with military children. I left the service after coming back from. A deployment (my 3rd), and I was able to fly directly in to my home airport because I wasn't traveling with the brigade, and my parents had brought my son to greet me at the airport. I had 2 days to report back to base, and when I had to leave my parent's home, my son told me to "come visit him again soon." It hit hard. I bawled my eyes out the entire 7 hour drive back to Fort Campbell. And then I was done. I just couldn't do it anymore. He needed me way more than these evil "rich men north of Richmond" did.
My husband is looking forward to establishing a relationship with his first daughter. She was 7 when they divorced, military family. She’s in her 40’s now. Sadly she stole from me when they finally visited at Christmas. I need to let my husband have time with her. He will see her flaws eventually. They still need a chance to reunite. He feels guilty about not being there for her.
She said she was really 12, his friends knew she wasn't 14 at all. Since her home life wasn't that good. You know that Stephen, Was learning how to groom her .He was demented back then he's 19 she was 12.
She actually said she was 14 but looked much closer to 12. Regardless, for a 19/20 yr old guy to look at a girl that young and think, "hmm, I want me a piece of that" just shows how long he has had these aberrant and unnatural desires. His family had to have known and seen the red flags. If anyone had stepped up and addressed his deviance before now, Maddie could have been saved 😢 This is a good reminder to stay vigilant, and if you see something, SAY SOMETHING. It's up to all of us to protect these vulnerable from creeps, and sometimes even themselves.
And he's had almost 20 years to work on his skills. It's just awful. S Predators can't be rehabbed. They can be monitored, and the threat of incarceration seems to deter?! But that is only as good as the monitoring is. The moment you're not looking, they will do it again.

Ya, I believe her. Pretty sure I know who this is and she ain't lying. That said I vaguely remember her at another friend's party with him but I know she wasn't at any of mine cause we didn't even allow siblings come to those. Pretty sure it was one of the lake parties. Omg I remember her telling me about that bar stuff one time. I totally forgot about that. I think that was after me and him had gone or separated ways. That said me and her were always nice to each other and we still talk like once a year. Still kinda shook she was so young when it started tho.
A lot of people knew him, everyone who spent time with him knew he was “weird” but everyone ignored it and continued associating with him smh When I get a weird vibe from someone, I don’t continue to associate with them and I surely wouldn’t add them on my social media. He should have been locked up a long time ago, since he was caught peeping through his friend mom’s bathroom he should have been reported.
and there is the strangeness of the mother again.... the fact that the mother behaves the way she does,and the fact that another car was seen to end up where Maddie was placed, and the father of Stephan happened to help Stephan at 11pm at night for accommodation...I suspect they were party to Maddies death and/or disposal.
naw she's just avoiding any involving anyone unnecessarily. I tried to do the same but I slipped with some names. She's telling the truth. She said 2 things that sparked memories. 1. She said she did go to 1 or 2 parties....and I specifically remember her at one now but it wasn't mine and I'm pretty sure either I didn't notice her till the end or she showed up late after most people left. I remember it being down to like 8 of us out of like 200 and she came into the room we were smoking in. Bought all I remember of that tho. 2. I remember her messaging me about visiting and seeing him and the entire bar incident. Tho I can't remember when it was but I think it was after me and him getting into our fight. Me and her have been friends for years on fb and every few years we have a short convo of how's life going? She sounds different than I remember but her stories are 100% true.
If you mean me (he had 3 roommates me being once of them) the last time I saw her was at another person's party that I didn't even remember till she said she had gone to 1 or 2. Pretty sure it was another person's lake house and I vaguely remember her there with him at the very end when most people had left. I didn't talk to her for years and years and years after that till I think she added me on Facebook. We've had contact ever since prob once or twice a year just being like how's life kinda convos. She's a nice girl who's Def got her life together. She has some beautiful children, travels, has a loving and understanding husband. She's Def come out the otherside on top. Now feel free to ask anything else cause some of this stuff might spark some memories. I was with him 90% of the time back then and I was heavy into drinking and drugs so a lot of this doesn't click till someone asks a question or one of these other people make me remember something when they talk.
So when she said he said “ I’m taking you home “ did he live with his family ? Oran apartment??? If he lived with his parents did she meet them ?? How much did his parents know or not know ???
he lived with his parents till me and him got a townhouse together. (rented by his dad). She Def met his parents and his mom many times. I saw her at his house multiple times and I think she slept over multiple times. So I believe what she said about Deb (the mom) knowing.

It seemed that Stephan had a " type" . Are there images out there of Madeline at the age of 8? Perhaps, we could see a trend of what he was " into" . It,seems like people like this have a type. Doe eyed, young or younger looking,perhaps dressed younger or edgier. I am happy to hear that this person he knew is at a better place in their life.

That is so common with military children. I left the service after coming back from. A deployment (my 3rd), and I was able to fly directly in to my home airport because I wasn't traveling with the brigade, and my parents had brought my son to greet me at the airport. I had 2 days to report back to base, and when I had to leave my parent's home, my son told me to "come visit him again soon." It hit hard. I bawled my eyes out the entire 7 hour drive back to Fort Campbell. And then I was done. I just couldn't do it anymore. He needed me way more than these evil "rich men north of Richmond" did.
My husband is looking forward to establishing a relationship with his first daughter. She was 7 when they divorced, military family. She’s in her 40’s now.
Sadly she stole from me when they finally visited at Christmas. I need to let my husband have time with her. He will see her flaws eventually. They still need a chance to reunite.
He feels guilty about not being there for her.
She was strict with Stefan but not strict enough to insist he not bring underage girls into the house????
She said she was really 12, his friends knew she wasn't 14 at all. Since her home life wasn't that good. You know that Stephen, Was learning how to groom her .He was demented back then he's 19 she was 12.

She actually said she was 14 but looked much closer to 12. Regardless, for a 19/20 yr old guy to look at a girl that young and think, "hmm, I want me a piece of that" just shows how long he has had these aberrant and unnatural desires. His family had to have known and seen the red flags. If anyone had stepped up and addressed his deviance before now, Maddie could have been saved 😢 This is a good reminder to stay vigilant, and if you see something, SAY SOMETHING. It's up to all of us to protect these vulnerable from creeps, and sometimes even themselves.
And he's had almost 20 years to work on his skills. It's just awful.
S Predators can't be rehabbed.
They can be monitored, and the threat of incarceration seems to deter?!
But that is only as good as the monitoring is.

Reports say her friends say she,was always mad at her mom but got along with him.

That said I vaguely remember her at another friend's party with him but I know she wasn't at any of mine cause we didn't even allow siblings come to those. Pretty sure it was one of the lake parties.
Omg I remember her telling me about that bar stuff one time. I totally forgot about that. I think that was after me and him had gone or separated ways.
That said me and her were always nice to each other and we still talk like once a year. Still kinda shook she was so young when it started tho.
A lot of people knew him, everyone who spent time with him knew he was “weird” but everyone ignored it and continued associating with him smh When I get a weird vibe from someone, I don’t continue to associate with them and I surely wouldn’t add them on my social media. He should have been locked up a long time ago, since he was caught peeping through his friend mom’s bathroom he should have been reported.

and there is the strangeness of the mother again.... the fact that the mother behaves the way she does,and the fact that another car was seen to end up where Maddie was placed, and the father of Stephan happened to help Stephan at 11pm at night for accommodation...I suspect they were party to Maddies death and/or disposal.
There’s something off with the things the lady is saying. I’m not sure I believe her bc she seems to vague about certain things (idk)
naw she's just avoiding any involving anyone unnecessarily. I tried to do the same but I slipped with some names. She's telling the truth.
She said 2 things that sparked memories. 1. She said she did go to 1 or 2 parties....and I specifically remember her at one now but it wasn't mine and I'm pretty sure either I didn't notice her till the end or she showed up late after most people left. I remember it being down to like 8 of us out of like 200 and she came into the room we were smoking in. Bought all I remember of that tho.
2. I remember her messaging me about visiting and seeing him and the entire bar incident. Tho I can't remember when it was but I think it was after me and him getting into our fight.
Me and her have been friends for years on fb and every few years we have a short convo of how's life going? She sounds different than I remember but her stories are 100% true.
I hope the caller has nothing but happiness in her life now.

If you mean me (he had 3 roommates me being once of them) the last time I saw her was at another person's party that I didn't even remember till she said she had gone to 1 or 2. Pretty sure it was another person's lake house and I vaguely remember her there with him at the very end when most people had left. I didn't talk to her for years and years and years after that till I think she added me on Facebook. We've had contact ever since prob once or twice a year just being like how's life kinda convos.
She's a nice girl who's Def got her life together. She has some beautiful children, travels, has a loving and understanding husband. She's Def come out the otherside on top.
Now feel free to ask anything else cause some of this stuff might spark some memories. I was with him 90% of the time back then and I was heavy into drinking and drugs so a lot of this doesn't click till someone asks a question or one of these other people make me remember something when they talk.

he lived with his parents till me and him got a townhouse together. (rented by his dad). She Def met his parents and his mom many times. I saw her at his house multiple times and I think she slept over multiple times. So I believe what she said about Deb (the mom) knowing.
