As I continue to learn this game, and MIPS coding, I find new tricks and of course, mistakes that I've made. I had a false-positive on an early proof of concept test in this coding to use a numeric value from a register as a direct jump, and the method I'm trying to use in this video "Furnace Control" has had a re-write since. I'll cover this and a few other oopsies in my next video. Thanks again for watching!

Thank you! High praise, your Furnace Expo 2022 video inspired me to get creative with my own furnace design - glad you enjoyed my video! I plan to expand in a similar fashion with a habitat unit as well, likely on the far side of the main workshop away from the furnace room. This was fun to make a video again, I think I might do it regularly. Cheers!!

The attention to detail is outstanding! Please consider making a build guide for your furnace and putting your IC codes on the Steam workshop.

Pretty amazing build out. I'm not quite to your level of sophistication yet but you've given me some ideas.

Thanks a lot! The feedback here has inspired me to create a series of Stationeers episodes starting with nothing on Mars and building up to the level of this video, and then beyond. First episodes taking longer because I have to figure out "how" to do things, and once I have a format I can replicate, I intend to get on a regular release schedule starting in January. Please check back later, hoping to make these fun to watch for experienced players and new players alike - not fully tutorial, and not fully gameplay only but something entertaining to watch. Cheers!

I'm planning on it, but life keeps getting in the way... should have more free time soon, looking forward to making a full series. 🍻

I just got back into the game after buying it when it released and playing for a few hours. I love the level of detail you can go into, in this game. Your base is something I will strive to have mine, very similar in the future. Spent 9 hours last night sorting out cabling, power etc. It's an amazing game for someone who likes the core of the game (power, cables, logic etc).

Those flags between building are like the chemlight paths we had in Iraq during dust storms.

Why's your base split up and spread out? Doesn't that just make things more difficult

Because of the dangers involved in this game with certain gases, and the steep learning curve on top of game mechanics not being set in stone during Early Access, I am building in a more modular style with purpose-built structures at (what I hope are) safe enough distances from each other such that if one gets destroyed or needs to be overhauled, it is wholly independent from other structures. There is infinite space to build, and infinite resources and so leaving plenty of space in-between also helps for future planning for addition of late game structures without having to overhaul a major building just to fit it in.
