The reason to use stun instead of kill, also is important to the idea that just because they're clones with the empire, does not mean they are evil. In fact, as the inhibitor chips wear off or go away as we've been seeing them. More and more clones begin to redeem themselves for an action they had no choice in taking.
In essence, they have to believe those in the empire can be redeemed. Because Crosshair is an imperial clone, and cody, and many others. Whereas the trandoshians are actually just evil lol
I don't think the inhibitor chips are wearing off. I think that most of this just doesn't have anything to do with Order 66, which is the only purpose that those chips served. It made them submit to the order to kill Jedi, but that doesn't mean they're all going to be super on board with the Empire's blatant cruelty.
@@godofthecripples1237 The thing is we saw the the inhibitor chip did not only force the clones to commit basically high treason, but also kind of shut off their personalitys turning them into mindless drones that worked on orders only. We saw this in Season One were all Clobes on Kamino were just droid like and lacking any of the usual charm they had. I think this is what people mean with the effect of the chip wearing off, they slowly are able to think clearly once more
I believe the Inhibitor Chips only function was to ensure the clones followed Order 66. Once that was done, they wore off as it was the only thing they were made for. Likely the reason clones were being replaced so soon by Palpatine after order 66 wasn't just because of the Kaminoan betrayal. It was the fact the Inhibitor chips were wearing off. Giving the clones full autonomy back. Meaning they could think back to what they did. And having those clones do a Coup was not what he wanted.
I'm honestly surprised the most pragmatic reason didn't wager in, Trandoshans lose their points upon defeat and regains them by defeating the ones who won over them, if the Bad Batch had stunned the lot, they'd have just gotten up later and pursued the Bad Batch forever.
Seeing Wookies and the kinrath throw down with trandoshans was awesome. Low-key was hoping Sev would drop in to back them up in this fight but definitely not a deal breaker. I think the Bad Batch can officially be labeled as a rebel cell at this point.
I had the same idea. I also hated that the Empire force were working with lizards. Like really after killing So many trando slavers and mercs in RC? Like I know that the gamę is not canon but come on
@@amelciauwu155 it was always canon that the empire enslaved the wookies, so it makes sense they would work with trandos to do that. if there was an RC sequel set during the empire, i always thought it'd be so cool if that time you had to kill the wookies instead, maybe even tarfull.
Sec would have been the perfect cameo since we last saw him on Kashyyyk! That small thing would have made the episode one of the best out of bad batch and clone wars
Anyone else here remember that unfinished animation of the Bad Batch fighting Kinrath on Kashyyyk? As troublesome as those five-limbed spiders were in KotOR, it's good to see them again. We might even see them in Jedi: Survivor.
I doubt Survivor will go back to Kashyyyk considering it was a location already in Fallen Order. At least I'd be disappointed to retread previous planets when there's a galaxy of new planets they could feature.

Honestly, this felt like a major missed opportunity. With Cid, we have the first sympathetic trandoshan character, and we don't see her in this episode at all. At some point we need to explore why Cid isn't practicing her culture's religion, and I am SO here for it when it happens. Also, did anyone else think the space station looked Hapan? Pretty cool, I thought.
Does she really need an explanation for being the Trandoshian version of an atheist? That's like asking why an Arab isn't a Muslim or an Asian not being a Buddhist. People don't need a reason for not practicing their respective cultural beliefs or religion.
@@TimberlakeTigerGirl for this universe it’s a different story since many Wookiees simply hate Trandoshans on sight heck even a Trandoshan Jedi in the comic had similar trouble.
@@TimberlakeTigerGirl To some degree, yes! What experiences let her move beyond such a vile system and culture? What obstacles did she overcome that the others haven't? How does she navigate relationships with other trandoshans without the common interest in killing for sport? That's a story worth telling, dramatically, and in-universe it's extremely relevant if trandoshans are ever going to move away from the hunt cult. We could do it on the surface level "Cid was born neutral rather than evil" but I'd rather get into why the Trandoshan religion has been sustained, and what it looks like when one of them decides to leave it.
Has anyone else notice that the bad batches new colours on their uniforms are the regimental colours of the 212th and the colours of the clone regiment on Ryloth from the first season of the bad batch. I wonder if that was an homage to the clone commander on Ryloth or purely coincidental. My personal head cannon is that it was on purpose. Also it might be hint to us not seeing the last of Cody.
Well in there intro episode we got hints that Cody and the Bad batch had a good relationship They cared about him when he was injured They respected him So it would be nice if we actually get some small hints of how they met and earned mutual respect
I think some parts of their armour got replaced after season 1, since they have different shapes now. I was thinking they just didn't get around to painting the new parts.
I'm more curious as to how they actually managed to damage/destroy their katarn armor, RC-8015 "FI skirata" literally had a building blow up and collapse on top of him and he only suffered a concussion with no other major injuries.
I think it's an exaggeration to say the Bad Batch were "rageful" or "got angry" I didn't see much of that myself, I think they were more "passionate" about the situation, maybe their ideals "re-invigorated" would be better descriptors
Another reason I assume they shot to kill: it's hard to switch from stun to kill and back when Trandoshans and clones are gathered together in the crossfire.
I hope that is Rex calling them to meet them, followed by Cody (who has already reconnected with Rex because who else would he look for?) being there as well, telling them about the separatist world from a few episodes ago and what happened there. Just to show them, the Empire doesn't care for anyone, that's not in the Empire (and even there they just care about the top)
A shift that I noticed was that after arriving on Kashyyk, the Batch were proactively engaging against the atrocities they witnessed without Omega needing to push the issue. It was subtle but I liked it. In fact, they were quite persistent in this episode about helping, when at several points the Wookie leader indicated they didn't have to. They actively chose to participate. Also, I liked the subtle ways Tech backed Hunter throughout the episode, particularly the final scene where he noticed the Wookie leader (I can't recall her name sorry) approach Hunter, grabs his helmet & seamlessly joins them to provide a clear translation for Hunter. This season really is reinforcing for me that Tech is low key the Batch's 2nd in command. We already saw this in season 1 penultimate episode when Hunter is captured, but still really appreciating this element being backed up.
I thought you were also going to point out how imperative it was that none of the invading mercenaries be allowed to report Gungi's presence to the Empire. Surely that also merits abandoning a setting of stun.
@@ryanh2621 Easier to tell which is clone and which is Trando so they could afford to keep on kill mode, unlike with clones and TKs where it's better to set on stun to keep the clone deaths to a minimum.
I loved how the clones immediately jumped to help the padawan, Hunter and Echo not chastising Omega for doing the right thing and how empathetic they were to the padawan's and the Wookies' pain. Also how Hunter was respectful of Wookies' culture, neither mocking their beliefs, nor mistrusting them. And how Wrecker was on board with everything the Wookies do. It honestly felt like Clone Force 99 found themselves a home away from home with Wookies, even if they don't get to stay.
I can't lie the beginning of this episode kinda made me mad I was so scared that we were about to follow omega on some stupid adventure that just ends up making the situation they are in worse in everyway by the end I thought it might have been one of the best animated episodes I've ever seen
@@corpyhogan4433 My problem with Omega is that he's clearly a shoe in by Disney to attract the younger audience. This would be of course fine of itself, if it didn't result in the series having to be toned down to more child friendly levels and also having more of these childlike antic filler episodes. Clone Wars had some really bad filler, but I feel the newest Bad Batch takes it a bit further. Also, hate Omega's weapon. It just feels really out of place, even the Wookie bow caster seems more sensible since it doesn't require actual tensioning of string etc.

Seeing the Bad Batch be the Bad Batch again was awesome! They were aggressive, ruthless, just like old times. But they REALLY need to get Crosshair back. I hope that next episode we see him defect form the Empire and go back to the Batch.
Don't know about next episode but from what I know crosshair does appear in episode 12 and 14 and from what I research crosshair makes a hard decision in episode 14
i would like to see an episode for gungi, where he was still at the jedi temple when order 66 happened, and seeing how he survived and if the other 5 younglings had survived too, if possible
Always nice to see the Trandos get their points knocked out of them. But, with reports of a Jedi on Kashyyyk, I wonder if Darth Vader will soon make an appearance.....
While Geetsly seems a little more bloodthirsty this video, I can agree that the Bad Batch certainly has stakes here, technically. Under normal circumstances, Gungi would be their Jedi Commander. And the last time they ran into a living Jedi, a Padawan for that matter, Hunter decided to let him go. Clones and Jedi just have this connection that was forged during the Clone Wars-and then shattered by Palpatine and the Galactic Empire.
This episode reminded me of Republic Commando and the hatred for the Trandoshan that the Deltas had. After all, this show should be inspired after that game (more or less)
Yay, more love for the "Silence All Voices" laser gun option. Will wait for the hopeful appearance of one RC-1207 though. They better not kark this perfectly good expected plot up.
The wookie jedi, I wonder what happened to his group of jedi class buddies. I'm just realizing he must've had a jedi Knight master who chose him to be his student. Then order 66 happened, causing him to be on the run and trusting the force. I wonder who was his master and where was he when order 66 was issued.
The Trandoshans love to use flamethrowers on the Wookies especially while on Kashyyyk. They loved to burn up the forest and a hairy Wookie goes up in flames pretty damn quick! That's pretty atrocious! Loved seeing Gungi again and I wonder how he escaped Order 66. I see him and Omega have a good bond and I wonder if he's going to stay on Kashyyyk or travel with them for a bit. He is a Jedi who's marked for death and it would definitely make it tougher for them to travel the Galaxy. Especially now that they know there's a younger Wookie Jedi out there which he's the only one of his kind. I'm pretty sure he probably wants to stay with his fellow Wookies and protect them though. We'll see what happens with that but it was an excellent episode all the way around.
I still think the Bad Bbatch shouldn't kill Clones and should keep stunning them. However, I was very happy with them gunning down those no-good Tradoshins in this episode. Like you said, it's one thing not to want to kill Clones, because they know their brothers are just being used and are not truly evil, so it's okay to stun them, or to stun those workers in that factory they broke into back in season 1 to get the Tactical Droids head because there just innocent people just doing their job, those characters don't deserve to die for this. But it's another thing for the Tradoshins in this episode, and most if not all of the Imperial Officers in general, since they are evil dicks who choose to do these evil acts for their own sick reasons, unlike Clones and workers I previously mentioned, they don't deserve mercy, they deserve a blaster bolt to the chest. And I am so happy the Bad Batch and Wookies gave it to them.
You should talk about how the two prior episodes were setting up for that dialogue at the end where omega should just be a kid away from war but ofc you wouldnt lmao
What if masters yaddel and plo koon survived their deaths in canon. They could then go into exile until master obi-wan kanobi rescued Princess leia. Then they take the skywalker twins for training after the force informed them of anakin's children's existence and kanobi's survival thus allowing for the three jedi masters to help to give a very thorough understanding of the force as well as lightsaber combat to the skywalker twins. How would this effect lothal, Ezra, ect.
Fallen Order takes place sometime between the Obi-Wan series and Star Wars Rebels, while The Bad Batch is set in the year or so immediately after Order 66. I doubt we'll see Cal Kestis in any season of The Bad Batch (though they did come very close when Rex took the Bad Batch to Bracca - that would have been only a couple of months after Jaro Tapal sacrificed himself to let Cal escape their Venator to the surface of Bracca). Tarfful is more likely but the only places we've seen the Bad Batch visit more than once are Tipoca City on Kamino and Cid's Parlor on Ord Mantell (technically Ryloth as well assisting Hera Syndulla but they left the system and came back in the course of a single episode so I'm not counting it).
That Wookie padawan looks familiar. Is he the same one in the Clone Wars cartoon series that had the padawan kyber crystal arc with the instructor droid?
You know, I’m wondering if during the Clone Wars Count Dooku got the Separatist Council together to plan for some shady stuff for after the war, like the megacorporations the council members are from being allowed to annex a lot of territory the Separatist military conquered, or even performing a coup against the Separatist Senate. Then, Dooku somehow lets this meeting or the contents of it get to his master or somebody in the Galactic Republic who then posts it on the Holonet. Something like that would anger a lot of members of the Separatists, realizing their allies were never truly allies. Maybe most Separatist worlds would either return to becoming neutral planets while others rejoin the Galactic Republic to take revenge. And Palpatine then does something similar to Abraham Lincoln during the American Civil War. Lincoln after the Battle of Gettysburg than made the war about ending slavery, which kept a lot of European nations from getting involved due to how unpopular the practice was. Imagine if Palpatine made a speech saying that the Republic would no longer let the Trade Federation and Techno Union hide behind their neutrality, that the Clone Wars were now a war against corporations and their corruption that’s plagued the galaxy for decades or even centuries. You can bet a lot of their victims would get behind the Republic for that. Such an action would lead to any reasonable planets in the CIS unfortunately being labeled as corporate goons despite whatever issues they have with both the Republic and the Separatist Council. And Dooku gets labeled as a tyrant. Something like that would definetly make any form of resistance against the Galactic Empire very popular, as well as the nationalization of most Separatist corporations.
@@lolmeme69_ Nah, that’s just what I would imagine would happen with the makeup of the CIS. Guys like Geetsly so point out there’s a heroic side to the CIS we’re starting to see, but the issue is that the Sith designed the CIS to just be a threat to the Republic. With the megacorporations making the Separatist military and their representatives on the Separatist Council being in charge of the war effort, I just always imagine a post-war CIS falling apart with the Council using the military against the Senate and all planets if anybody tries to stop their corporate corruption and fiefdoms. Generation Tech did a video about what he imagined such a scenario would be like and he imagined it being some private enterprise or corporate version of the Galactic Empire. However Dooku is the big question mark. So far his bigotry only is in Legends, but he at least seems to agree with Palpatine that an empire is the way to govern the galaxy. Dooku at times can be as vicious as a Sith, but as civil as a Jedi, hence why he’s a great politician. But I have no idea how much his values got eroded by Palpatine over the years. Sure he’s killed Jedi, led massacres, backed war criminals, and aligned with terrorists and slave empires, but Anakin did terrible things as Vader and still turned against Palpatine for the greater good. So I don’t know if Dooku would side with the Separatist Council or the Separatist Senate. All I know is, a CIS victory wouldn’t end well for the galaxy, or at least the part of the galaxy in the Separatist Alliance.
With the kinrath and the ratatak scientist in the clone wars. I wonder if kotor will just be Easter eggs or if they are going to do a episode around reven or the exlie. E.g empire is after the ruins of the star forge or HK 47,s programing 🤔
The bad batch also shot and killed several clones this episode as well. I wouldn't call it the beginning of a slow Arc, it's more like a switch was flipped and how they choose violence. For very good reasons but still, it was a very Sudden Change.
I'm interested to see what happens with sid. Sid is clearly not the most trustworthy person, not even just because she's trandoshan. So after seeing the bad batch be quite brutal with other trandoshans, it's possible we see sid try and make possible amends with the wookies and help the batch against the empire. Who knows. But seeing all this certainly shows there is big stuff coming.
Kinda feel bad for the Trandoshians at this point. Sure they are slavers but wow if they don’t get the short end of the stick when it comes to these shows. First the clone wars featuring the trandoshians being overwhelmed by padawans with no lightsabers and wookies and now the same concept but with less wookies and padawans. Hopefully one day we’ll get something that involves a Trandoshian like Bossk where they have some spotlight outside of being a normal bad guy who loses.
I love your content and know that reviewers were given access to episodes 1-12 early. This feels like a situation you guy already know how things fit together, the ride is worth it, and there are too many slow episodes to get to the meat. Just let us know the season is worth it and you are pointing out the themes from the episodes that will play into the larger tapestry that is being woven this season. I can't wait to see what is about to unfold.
I think its interesting that if humans fought an alien we would probably burn or bury the alien casualties out of respect or practicality. But if wookies fought trandoshias, they probably saw it as normal to eat each other lol. Random
So far my favorite episode. Was very surprised to see Gungi still alive and well. Thought he was dead. A surprise to be sure but a welcomed one in my book. Also nice to see him not only kick some ass but to see him return to his people was touching. I dislike how much the Wookies almost always suffer. Possibly more than any other species in Star Wars that I could think of. They cannot seem to catch a break. I have not seen one good Trandoshan besides a certain character we know. Even then, she doesn't seem to be fully trusting given her species and all.
I like how Echo was the one who brought up the fact that "The Wookiees were our allies for years", just kind of showing that he's the Bad Batch's call back to the Republic and the Jedi - he used to be a good friend of Anakin and Obi-Wan, after all. I still feel like he's more underused than Hayden was in Kenobi, though.
To be fair, it makes sense even from a warfare psychology and tactical standpoint. In the first episode, they were on a covert operation with the goal of securing high value cargo and getting out ASAP. There was no need to kill their clone brothers, who were there for similar goals (raiding Dooku's estate). Strictly speaking, there was no good or bad side at that time, as no one was really doing anything reprehensible. On Kashyyk, on the other hand, the empire and the trandoshans were there with the intention of conquering the planet and, more importantly, enslave the wookies. The bad batch's mission was to defend the wookies and stop the empire and the wookies. What message does the bad batch send to the enemy if they see their initial attack being repelled, but without losing anyone in the process? That their opponent is soft? That they don't pose an actual threat? That they can just try again immediately afterwards? If you want your enemy to stop attacking, you want them to fear you, you want them to consider twice before attacking, you want them to know there'll be consequences and risks for doing so
This season is setting us up for the batch breaking up... Echo wants to join the fight against the Empire... Hunter wants the opposite... The last few filler episodes were all about Omega becoming deeply enraptured by the life of an adventurer... Sereno showed her treasure... Wanda Sykes showed her the attractive life of an adventuring pirate... The racing episode showed her the feeling of winning against the odds. They're turning omega into a little Han Solo... She needs to meet Hondo... If he is even still alive. Also, Tech is probably going to end up being a famous pod Racer. They are probably gonna kill wrecker... That will lead to cross hair's redemption and Omega learning her final lesson, loss. I hope the fact that she is force sensitive gets a spotlight this season... It's obvious the batch hasn't been around many jedi... Which explains why no one has noticed... Hunter ( a high-ranking specialist clone trooper) used the term "laser sword. "... While a basic imp clone, later in the episode, used the term "lightsaber"...the batch didn't need to serve under the jedi generals, so weren't briefed on them beyond recognizing the weapon and some of the powers. I think this may lead to a revelation for the finale.
My list of species that deserved to be put to extinction in Star Wars: 1 Trandoshans 2 Zyggarians 3 Hutts 4 Pykes 5 Kaminoans Feel free to add more if I missed some other nasty and irreedmable species.
Seeing kinrath on kasshyyk really brought me back to my KOTOR 1 days. Can't remember if we saw them in fallen order but was cool to see them nonetheless.
I'd bet one thing would make the Trandoshans think twice about taking Wookiee pelts: Wookies selling Trandoshan-hide boots, belts, wallets, etc. to anyone willing to buy 'em. 😀
Is quite telling when Bossk, a quite infamous bounty hunter by his own right, looks like the CHILL one of his race... On the other side, its their religion... Mandalorians did amost the same to the cathar and some other species and no one id gripping at them.... And lets not forget the extintion of the Sith race...
While I agree with all of this and they were likely mad about what the empire was doing I think they realized something else, that this was a time where it was absolutely unavoidable to spare the lives of the imperial clones and trandoshans as they knew what the empire did to Jedi first hand leaving a single soul alive from that raiding party would of doomed the village to slavery anyways if not death by the hands inquisitiors
Speaking of blasting away lizard men...why not comment on the clones that were with them in the episode? They definitely were clones as they had the old style armor, not the same Storm Trooper helmets from the original trilogy.

It was the fact the Inhibitor chips were wearing off. Giving the clones full autonomy back. Meaning they could think back to what they did.
And having those clones do a Coup was not what he wanted.
When he was sitting in the back of the ship terrified, I felt so awful for him.
Man why you gotta remind me well never get a sequel 😭
Bad batch is the new ghost crew
Wookiees and Jedi/Clones. There’s something about that relationship that just seams iconic at this point.
Anyone else here remember that unfinished animation of the Bad Batch fighting Kinrath on Kashyyyk? As troublesome as those five-limbed spiders were in KotOR, it's good to see them again. We might even see them in Jedi: Survivor.
Unlikely, unless some of them were traded away from Kashyyyk.
I doubt Survivor will go back to Kashyyyk considering it was a location already in Fallen Order. At least I'd be disappointed to retread previous planets when there's a galaxy of new planets they could feature.
@@themanyouwanttobe That is true, but we've seen the Kinrath on other planets, like Dantooine. Who's to say the Kinrath aren't limited to just those two worlds?
the kinrath were pretty troublesome in KOTOR, especially on dantooine during the early game, kashyyk in the later game wasn't too bad
@@captaincombat248 True. The poison from the Viper Kinrath on Kashyyyk could be irritating at times. And then all those Kinrath on Dantooine in KotOR II..
Yeah I was just thinking about how Cid would feel about this
Does she really need an explanation for being the Trandoshian version of an atheist? That's like asking why an Arab isn't a Muslim or an Asian not being a Buddhist. People don't need a reason for not practicing their respective cultural beliefs or religion.
@@TimberlakeTigerGirl good point
"If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, you may be able to hire the Bad Batch." (fade in theme from The A-Team)
Their shuttle definitely needs a red stripe and a spoiler. It would also be cool to see them shooting out of a parachuting tank.
Well in there intro episode we got hints that Cody and the Bad batch had a good relationship
They cared about him when he was injured
They respected him
So it would be nice if we actually get some small hints of how they met and earned mutual respect
I noticed that today too, specifically Hunters armor is colored and shaped in the 212th downward arrows/lines, and I thought I was trippin 💀
I think it's an exaggeration to say the Bad Batch were "rageful" or "got angry" I didn't see much of that myself, I think they were more "passionate" about the situation, maybe their ideals "re-invigorated" would be better descriptors
*Trandoshans exists*
Everyone: Peace was never an option
Yup.
Those smuggling droids really reminds me of L3 from Solo.
I was hoping Sev would make an appearance, but this episode was better than the last two
Was hoping for a reference to him as well.
That was never going to happen
The bad batch still needs a sniper. Sev would fit in nicely.
@@catdaddy7982
They're not a military unit anymore. Hunter in every episode is trying to find a way to live in peace; they don't need a sniper.
Why Sev specifically? Is he considered canon?
Another reason I assume they shot to kill: it's hard to switch from stun to kill and back when Trandoshans and clones are gathered together in the crossfire.
I hope that is Rex calling them to meet them, followed by Cody (who has already reconnected with Rex because who else would he look for?) being there as well, telling them about the separatist world from a few episodes ago and what happened there. Just to show them, the Empire doesn't care for anyone, that's not in the Empire (and even there they just care about the top)
5:30 best description of those lizards ever ^^
THATS WHY HE'S THE MVP! THATS WHY HE'S THE GOAT! THE GOAAAT!
@@cloudnein8114 Agreed. Tech is the absolute GOAT of Clone Force 99 🤘😎🤘

@@masterofall4elements820 He's like a little puppy.
I thought you were also going to point out how imperative it was that none of the invading mercenaries be allowed to report Gungi's presence to the Empire. Surely that also merits abandoning a setting of stun.
They’re not using stun round because they’re not fighting clones.
There were clones there in the battle
@@ryanh2621 Easier to tell which is clone and which is Trando so they could afford to keep on kill mode, unlike with clones and TKs where it's better to set on stun to keep the clone deaths to a minimum.
@@collecter343rip to that one clone comando
That's *my* theory anyway. They'd been using stun blasters before because they *really* don't like the idea of killing their brothers.
@@davidvasquez08 Yeah, no perfect no clone death run so far, though to be fair his own men shot him.
No stun rounds this episode, Bad Batch don't give a crap about harming the Trandoshans
Thus to all slavers, IMO.
I can't lie the beginning of this episode kinda made me mad I was so scared that we were about to follow omega on some stupid adventure that just ends up making the situation they are in worse in everyway by the end I thought it might have been one of the best animated episodes I've ever seen
Yea Omega sucks
Yeah. I loved the omega character when she was first introduced but it’s kind of getting annoying now. The bad batch squad themselves aren’t bad.
There’s always an annoying kid to ruin it. A theme of many shows
@@corpyhogan4433 My problem with Omega is that he's clearly a shoe in by Disney to attract the younger audience.
When I saw the guy screaming being carried off by a spider monster I thought. Surely they kill the beast and spare him being eaten alive. Then I thought at least a mercy kill. But no, they left the guy to be eaten alive . This season went dark fast, like Enzo becoming Mattix dark,
I truly belive the bad batch only use the stuns on other clones because they don’t want to harm their brothers unless they have to. If it’s anyone else all bets are off.
We're also seeing that they can't stick with Cid. Cid send them to help the droid that were selling Gungi on the slave market.
TBH up until now I've tried not to think ill of the Trandoshins but this episode and this video has made me rethink how I feel about them.
I love episode 6 gungi wookiees and bad batch taken down trandoshan thugs was epic i will never stop watching it
Seeing the Bad Batch be the Bad Batch again was awesome!
It was kind of weird for the Bad Batch to refer to AATs as Imperial tanks
Wonder if we’ll see more of Gungi in the future?
Especially since he survived order 66
Rip those two clones who were with the Trandosians
I think the wookies weren't just manual labour. They were skilled labour ( engineering ability) and strength.
I hope they talk about his friends and we get a flashback
I wonder if they'll stumble into Tarful and Kal Kestis, that would be fun to watch.
Gotta love when a giant spider in its natural habitat eats evil. Nature takes its course.
That Wookie padawan looks familiar. Is he the same one in the Clone Wars cartoon series that had the padawan kyber crystal arc with the instructor droid?
We did mention in the video :) Yes, Gungi is that same Padawan from the lightsaber arc in TCW. That's one reason we were so excited to see him!
Something like that would definetly make any form of resistance against the Galactic Empire very popular, as well as the nationalization of most Separatist corporations.
...I doubt he did, seeing how lore goes. I think you might be smarter than Palpatine tbh...
I uh, feel kinda bad for the dude that got taken by the spiders at the end, gruesome
Yeah his screams were chilling
Yea well he deserves it too bad we can't have that for real world child molesters
If it makes you feel any better, Trandoshians would skin Wookies and collect their pelts.

With the kinrath and the ratatak scientist in the clone wars. I wonder if kotor will just be Easter eggs or if they are going to do a episode around reven or the exlie. E.g empire is after the ruins of the star forge or HK 47,s programing 🤔
Ironic because Sid is a Trandoshan
The bad batch also shot and killed several clones this episode as well. I wouldn't call it the beginning of a slow Arc, it's more like a switch was flipped and how they choose violence. For very good reasons but still, it was a very Sudden Change.
I noticed the clones shoot to kill.. the jedi killed no-one i think
No more stun doughnuts I am so freaking happy about that

I love your content and know that reviewers were given access to episodes 1-12 early. This feels like a situation you guy already know how things fit together, the ride is worth it, and there are too many slow episodes to get to the meat. Just let us know the season is worth it and you are pointing out the themes from the episodes that will play into the larger tapestry that is being woven this season. I can't wait to see what is about to unfold.
After the last two episodes that seemed like filler, episode 6 nicely turned things around.
Fighting a wookie sounds like a good way to get f***ed up.
I think its interesting that if humans fought an alien we would probably burn or bury the alien casualties out of respect or practicality. But if wookies fought trandoshias, they probably saw it as normal to eat each other lol. Random
This episode gave me a ton of nostalgia for Knights of the Old Republic, seeing the kinrath having a bunch of screentime was cool ^~^
Sev would be proud
I was so happy to see gungi!!!!!! When he busted out the lightsaber I was like OMG HE LIVED
Keep up The Good work my guy👍🏼
The Senate is always vicious.
If you want your enemy to stop attacking, you want them to fear you, you want them to consider twice before attacking, you want them to know there'll be consequences and risks for doing so
Man that Wookie crossbow and its bolts are an interesting piece of kit
Hondo is in Rebels so yes he’s still alive
@biffyqueen Oh yeah, that's right! It's the mandalorian he might not be alive during... Nice! she needs to meet Hondo.

Civilized people:"And that's when I started blasting"
Seeing kinrath on kasshyyk really brought me back to my KOTOR 1 days. Can't remember if we saw them in fallen order but was cool to see them nonetheless.
I'd bet one thing would make the Trandoshans think twice about taking Wookiee pelts: Wookies selling Trandoshan-hide boots, belts, wallets, etc. to anyone willing to buy 'em. 😀
More likely it motivate them to do it even more, revenge and all that
Is quite telling when Bossk, a quite infamous bounty hunter by his own right, looks like the CHILL one of his race... On the other side, its their religion... Mandalorians did amost the same to the cathar and some other species and no one id gripping at them.... And lets not forget the extintion of the Sith race...
A scaly sack of Sith has to be the best quote I’ve ever heard lol
This episode was a good departure from the “filler” of the last two episodes
While I agree with all of this and they were likely mad about what the empire was doing I think they realized something else, that this was a time where it was absolutely unavoidable to spare the lives of the imperial clones and trandoshans as they knew what the empire did to Jedi first hand leaving a single soul alive from that raiding party would of doomed the village to slavery anyways if not death by the hands inquisitiors
What ever else we’re about to see, there’s no turning back from the flame of war.
Speaking of blasting away lizard men...why not comment on the clones that were with them in the episode? They definitely were clones as they had the old style armor, not the same Storm Trooper helmets from the original trilogy.
“Sack of sith” is my new favorite insult
I liked that we saw several Wookiees get shot for standing in the open and roaring during a gunfight. That's always been a problem in the Clone Wars and other Star Wars material
The freaking Kinrath from KOTOR are back and I definitely detected some RAS Prosecutor vibes in this episode.
Another great video that increases the understanding and enjoyment of the series. Well done.
The incompetence of the empire is really truly staggering
