Out of all players on that team, I wasn't expecting Altuve himself to get ejected. I think this is only the 2nd time in his career

Review would not overturn this call, however. There is no convincing evidence.
@@MwD676 There actually is. It's obvious that by hitting his shoe it changed the direction of the ball. The commentators for both sports clubs mentioned it, or at least for the Astros. It would have definitely been overturned had it gotten a video review.

If you think this is clear evidence that would change a call, then I think you have not watched that many challenges in the MLB. Happens all the time that an obvious overturn becomes a call stands.
@@MwD676 This call may not have been overturned, because it was not 100% clear but after watching other replays, the call made on the field was the wrong call. That doesn't change the fact that this should still be a reviewable call.
@@tbrown4762 I have also watched several different replays of this. Most were accompanied by the sentiment that it was an obvious missed call. But in none of the clips did I actually see the ball contact Altuve’s shoe.
As for adding this play (batted ball potentially touching batter in box) to the list of reviewable plays, I have no issue with that.

That happened to me once last season and it hit me right in my ribs and deflected off. You could tell that it hit me and it hurt really bad but the umpire still said that it didn’t hit me and I ended up grounding out on the next pitch, it really sucked.

The Astros also beat the Yankees in 2017 in 7 games. Lastly, in 2015, the Astros beat the Yankees in a wildcard match. I don't know about you, but it seems like the Astros have owned the Yankees for nearly a decade here.
