      Kit came from Boot Hill in Florida. The speaker is a reproduction Jensen.

    Is it more versatile than a Champ just because of the added Tone knob or does the circuitry differ enough to offer a different sound? I own a Champ but wouldn't mind putting a Monotone kit version of this together.

      5F1 Champ and 5F2A Princeton is exact same circuit. My Princeton has a Tone control and larger 10in. Speaker over Champ.

      You should. I built a Mojotone 5F2A, put it in a custom tweed deluxe cabinet with a 12" Jensen P12Q and love it.
