Not getting room service is an adjustment but worth it for the beach 🏖

Useful review, helpful information, good idea to arrive the day before, remove the flight delay risk/anxiety. I haven't stayed in a Doubletree so was interested to see the standard. I always watch your posts.

Other Hilton’s are likely better. We like the Hilton Marina. Great resort style pool, bistro by the pool and marina, and the water taxi stops there too. The Doubletree GalleriaOne is also nice but needs a refresh. It has an amazing location for precruise with beach, huge shopping mall, Publix, Starbucks, and CVS pharmacy all close by. Taxis are pretty cheap in FL.
I too would miss room service, but I find that more limited service hotels aren’t providing. Good to see the decor and understand the location
