Thanks for a great video of your personal experience with these cameras and not being a salesman. I love the a6700, it's far better than what people assume. Image quality is on par with the A74, but in a smaller body, the focus mode is excellent and it weights almost nothing. I have no experience with the ZV-E1, do have the E10, and it is a very good camera with a shutter (must be an a6400 at heart). Love to see more of your videos of you in the wild vs in the studio.
Really appreciated this comparison. I currently have the ZV-e1, a7CR and a6700. I bought the a6700 when it was released because (even though rumors were circling) I didn’t expect Sony to make an a7CR. I plan to sell my a6700 now but keep my apsc lenses and use them on the a7CR and occasionally ZV-E1. Is there a reason, aside from possibly cost that you haven’t considered the a7CR? As a side note I love that Tamron 50-400mm 🍻
Also, just a quick note. As I was watching and you said that the a6700 doesn’t have bright monitoring I was surprised because I was like 99% sure that the a6700 has it. I haven’t used the a6700 much in low light situations because I have other full frame cameras for that, but I just went and checked mine and it definitely does have bright monitoring. Just thought you’d like to know. I have mine programmed to the C3 button.
That’s interesting you sold your a6700. I love mine. I had the a7c for years but did not love the grip. I was disappointed when the a7cii and a7cr didn’t improve upon the grip much. I also don’t care for the accessory to make the grip larger. That’s why I like the a6700. It’s small and has an amazing grip and smaller lenses.
@@Davidmccombsthanks man!! Love the channel! Subbed. Gonna get a a6700. I shoot 4k24 video mostly and some photo for travel and sports. I’m thinking 18-105 used lens for video and maybe a 20-30 3rd party used for lowlight ?
Thank you! Bulb mode lets you open the shutter as long as you want. For example, if you’re taking a photo of star trails for 5 hours you can do this with bulb mode.

Thank you! I’ll try to do more out in the wild. Good to know people like those videos.

If you could only keep 1 what would it be!?! I’m looking to shoot sports, travel, mini docs, podcasts etc. wide ranging video and photo use.
I’d do the a6700

Great comparison! could you elaborate more on the bulb mode thing? What is that feature?

Good combo I have the A6700 and the A7iv
Great comparison thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
The a6700 sucks for low light, especially for video. Even exposing at +1.7 slog 3, there is ALWAYS noise
Yeah the zv-e1 out performs by a long shot but it just depends on how dark it is.
