I kinda wish it was a liquid based exfoliate instead. Because applying a toner / essence after a dimethicone serum feels odd lol

Haha I hear ya! It’s fairly thin, it doesn’t have that cushiony dimethicone feel, hard to describe but it didn’t upset my layering even with various test products.
