Amazing advice all the way around! Even the examples of how you have a conversation with your toddler and practicing helping them to learn how to follow directions; absolutely invaluable info! I am about to give birth to baby #3, a little girl after 2 boys now 2 1/2 and 14 months, the elder brother has some speech and communication delays so really trying to work on all the interpersonal communication skills for all. That's a good idea to start them sitting on the toilet long before they are ready to potty train, just to get them used to it.
