Indie-rocker/synthetics musician I am watching and most believing in for the future of space-rock, shoegaze and hypnotic synth blends. This guy is the present torch bearer since Edgar passed.
Great music! I love music, music is life music is nice! My favorite music is the one that sounds Amazing! Tearful! Fantastic! Specially those synths used here... Truly heartwarming!...
Loved his older works much more, but he still creates amazing compositions. Followed him from early 2000´s when his music was played on AOL radio in Germany. Bought all his records, vynil and CD although I don´t even own a turntable/record player for those. I sometimes carry his records to my friend who owns one :D
The cool things about Ulrich is that he didn't just create it in DAW but composed on a keyboard first. It brings more dimensions to his sound and gives it a unique signature that I can pick out even in other contributions he has made such as to Tangerine Dream.
Love Ulrich ❤️ None like him. So glad I found this video. I was searching for love forever, the original, not the remastered and stumbled on this video. Beautifully done 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
This feels like it would belong perfectly in a video game soundtrack or weather channel. Something out of gran turismo or an obscure early 2000s ps2 game.

11:25 the next 35 seconds...they sound somehow knotted and tangled. It feels like two melody sounds try to enter a hole 👂 at the same time, but the sounds are too big for the hole. Jostling sounds. 😉 ( I think this was one of the few tiny mistakes I ever found in the huge Ulrich Schnauss music universe...)
Yes it was a mistake, you can see it in his body language. The exact time is 11:34 where you can hear some kind of 'lag', and the two melodies go out-of-phase.
God he is so underrated
100%
he is
Genius. A modern Mozart.
Bring him again, this is such a hidden treasure!
Bro wasn't wrong this is a nice uplifting tune
Ulrich is so slept on, lucky i found him recently! been a fan ever since

The best who has ever made electronica since hmmmm 1980. Too bad everyone missed out.
Um no. APHEX TWIN IS THE FATHER OF ELECTRONICA
@@gblademan I like Aphex Twin but he is not the father of Electronica lol.
Father(s) of electronica would be Boards of Canada 😉
Not everyone missed out.
@@supadupahilton6848 Nope. Karl Heinz Stockhausen is the godfather.

Thanks so much Ron for posting. 20 years since the wonderful Faraway Trains. Happy anniversary Ulrich :)
Saw TD a couple of times in the 70s, also in '82. But I enjoyed a concert with Ulrich a few years back the most.@@astrotelomeres1084

so good
I have always included him in the pantheon of the best instrumentalists who feel space and are beyond time.
He knows beautiful chords when he hears them.
FR, this is awesome.
ABSOLUTELY AWSOME!
The master of down tempo chill. No one compares to Ulrich. Just beautiful.

Wow! Love how it takes off at 8:00 and then 8:13, wth! Beautiful!
Love this. It's a great tune. I'm sorry about all of the weirdos in the comments from that one site. Your music is truly a delight.

Hey pal. I don't know who you are, but I hope you become successful at what you're doing.
Peace!✌️

Since we have so many music lovers here, I suggest you look up a certain beautiful musician and her inspired songs: Debie Rise.
Can someone tell me what is that 2nd track after Einfeld? @ 8:00?

He is transitioning to "Never Be The Same". I didn't catch a lag or something strange, but maybe I missed it.
I think it was a computer glitch, out of his control.
I hear what you are saying, yes, like summertravel said, you can see his body language on that. As a German that musta been irritating to him, lol.
YW do you know the exact date of this concert..(live seattle)
i guess > spring 2008
Oct. 08, 2007 Was in KCRW studios, Santa Monica, California
Does anyone know the name of the first piece?
its called EINFELD,but it is a live improvisation
