I know it's not that deep, but this it legitimately what it feels like to put your work out into the world. The stress about getting attention and approval, connecting your own self-worth to the success of your art... Not sure if that was the intention, but I think it portrays it really well either way

Out of the many, MANY things I appreciate from this animation, the fact that you can time the moment the animation part turns to horror as 0:57 if you're paying close attention is great. There's exactly one changed background element aside from the generally darker lighting, and then it steadily gets more and more intense. Oh dip, there's also at least 16 visible bodies at 1:11 as well! Either Dinkle, something Dinkle summoned, or whatever Dinkle's true form is definitely killed those 20 missing people from the newspaper, and seemingly all in the span of 9 hours because Dinkle sees the offending comment at midnight. Might have taken less time, as Dinkle seemingly went upstairs to think before coming back to post on multiple accounts - the existence of which may have been foreshadowed by the multiple song posts from early in the video. I'll admit, despite seeing this shortly after it was posted and going back through a few more times, I only listened to it while watching once. I feel I owe it another "true" viewing at some point, so I just had another. Even the music itself has subtle details that are best heard through headphones. Something special, this one is.

I love all of the details! I like how dinkle was reading the newspaper with "20 missing" on it at the end. Or when the PC was frying from reuploading the chiptune so many times. So many cool scenes and details in this. Great work!! XD
Ok so at 1:18 the newspaper’s title says “20 ppl missing”, probably correlating with 1:12, and at 1:21 the painting in the middle row to the right seems depict three people that have their faces crossed out, below that it has what seems to be the monster at 1:05 and 1:13 there’s two other paintings at 1:21 ( top row left, and bottom row right) that seem off but I can’t tell what’s happening, I could just be over analyzing or something but that’s just some stuff that I didn’t catch the first time

Dinkle, well, one known thing is that he wants everyone to hear his little bell and wants everyone to love him. It’s possible Dinkle might be evil but I am not 100% sure.

Here's a theory: That weird creature is Dinkle's true form. Let me explain, So here's what I think: When Dinkle gets mad, they get hungry and melt into a puddle to become their true form, and eventually Dinkle kidnapped 20 people and ate them, which is why the lack of 20 dead bodies in the basement.
And also Dinkle saying "Did anyone like it?" It appears that Dinkle doesn't want to Kill/Eat anyone, when they get mad, they uncontrollably eat people to calm down.
I love the contrast between Dinkle's song and Dinkle's chiptune, he discovered the internet and so went from being a sweet lonely lovable guy to whatever the fuck this is

I think this is something that proves how most relationships work. They meet, they develop feelings, they date, misunderstandings and concerns happen, then eventually breakup. And I know this because I’ve been in a relationship before irl. It didn’t work out.

what i'm getting from this is that a small ball cat made a chiptune arrangement then somebody critiqued it and the small ball cat had a mental breakdown and made 20 people 'go missing'.

Here's a theory: That weird creature is Dinkle's true form. Let me explain, So here's what I think: When Dinkle gets mad, they get hungry and melt into a puddle to become their true form, and eventually Dinkle kidnapped 20 people and ate them, which is why the lack of 20 dead bodies in the basement.
And also Dinkle saying "Did anyone like it?" It appears that Dinkle doesn't want to Kill/Eat anyone, when they get mad, they uncontrollably eat people to calm down.
