Well now I know why they are also called clothes pin cookies. Your video is great. I love how you talk about what works and what you are thinking while making them, very informative. You should look into getting an adjustable measuring cup. Makes the crisco, mallow, packed br sugar, etc so much easier to get out. Perfect for us lazy bakers. ;)
The dough sheet is folded in thirds. Cut them along those folds so you have 3 sheets (instead of the one you used). Roll out each 1/3 sheet to about 15" long. You can get around 120 cookies from the box of puff pastry this way. 350-355° for 10-12 minutes.
They look delicious Julie, thanks for sharing, I will try these. I just made a Shoofly pie, I can’t wait to have a slice. Thanks for sharing the process, be well, and God bless.
I've never heard of Lady Locks but I'm sure I will prefer Lazy Locks. The filling looks delicious but I've never seen it made. It sure is a lot of fat. I'm going to pretend I didn't see that part. I bet they are delicious! Thanks for the video Julie.
So good thank Julie.
Kevin, they were pretty good, thanks for your help.
Thanks Kevin

Angie, I used to have one of those adjustable cups but I don't know what happened to it. Thank you for watching

Thank you for the great tip Jenn.
Will the pastry be too thin?
@@carolwidenhofer3961 they aren't supposed to be thick. The cookie is mainly the filling

Gale, yeah it is a lot of fat but this is something you don't have every day, they are usually made around Christmas. Thank you for watching.
This looks like such a great idea- but eating the butter, Crisco and fluff- I'd be pushing up daisies!! 😳
Lol Dora , that's why I only make them for holiday's.
