Super helpful review. I have 4b/4c hair and have been eyeing this cream for a while! I am currently looking at this cream as well as the Kinky Tresses Hair Butter, Retrying the Almond Jai Twisting Butter and how it compares to my current cream I use to twist my hair the Camille Rose Aloe Whipped Butter Gel. I appreciate the comment you made about using this product on damp to wet hair because I think traditionally I would style my hair on wet to damp hair but am not preferring to style my hair on damp to dry hair and need to keep this in mind when trying this product. Perhaps I should use less of the product at first or use it as a leave in on my towel-dried hair and stretch my hair and then stretch it again after like you were suggesting. Hair stats: Kinky 4B/4C, fine strands, high porosity, medium density.
So glad you found it helpful!! I would recommend wet to damp hair only. I tried it on drier hair and had significant residue on my hair. Kinky Tresses hair butter is great also.

The reason the butter is so thick and gives such good definition is because beeswax is a major component.
