Yall dont think its sad that we need a beginners tutorial on hair we had our whole life lmao. Colonialism go crazy dont it
Ummm white people are also on this journey let’s not shame people for learning
@@Jessica.Shawnte white people dont have 4c hair what the fuck are you talking about 🙂 im shaming colonialism, not us.
@@Jessica.Shawnte white ppl are not learning how to take care of their 4c hair, Karen. My God. I am shaming colonialism, not my people.
You're right! But black talk has a point. Yes the 1a guys have hair tutorials but it's not usually this basic@@Jessica.Shawnte
@@Jessica.Shawnte no one is being shamed other than the colonialists who taught us to hate ourselves.
teenager in middle school , im finally learning how to wash my hair instead of doing it any type of way. 😂😂 , My hair used to be so damaged and now im finally getting to learn more about hair.
im a high schooler but washing my hair is so hard because i have anemia
@@XiaoIsMyHusbandBTWGoing to be a freshman next month but same and plus an iron deficiency.😢
Don't be a dumbass like me guys (I'm old as hell, 18) and I have never ever ever washed my hair by myself. I've hardly ever even oiled it or done anything to it besides keep it braided. It is severely damaged and I'll probably have to chop 60 percent of it off 😢 or all of it.
@@bubblelady8528 seconding you dude dont be a dumbass like me (20 btw) and not take care of your hair. My hair use to be down to my back but its so damaged and fragile now I'm gonna take it all out tomorrow (I have locs-)
@@bubblelady8528ur not old as hell
i feel like keeping your 4c hair trimmed is another key aspect. because our hair is high in density and SO curly. the hair strands tend to loc on themselves and split. I saw so much improvement in moisture and health after regulary trimming my hair. and i loveeeeeee my hair and i love yours too and the representation!!!!!!! im so happy young black girls are growing up with role models like u. cheers to the revolution
yess healthy ends is key! i find that many people can’t afford trims or can’t find natural hair stylists i wish it was more accessible :// but i guess even self trimming can be beneficial! and thank you i’m happy to be apart of natural hair positivity 🫶🏾🫶🏾
that density one isn't really true for everyone though, I have a see through afro cause my 4c hair is sparse
do you trim your own ends?
How many times a year??
@@CaramelCupcakkeeYeah this comment lowkey added salt to my wound, some of us are struggling & have like 2 hair strands on our heads. What is true for one person isn’t true for everyone else lol
You and your hair are a gorgeous combination. Thank you for showcasing HEALTHY, BEAUTIFUL 4C HAIR!!!
thank you!!
Yess!! I fully agree!
I don’t even have this hair type, but I watched through the whole video because it’s so relaxing. Thank you for providing this for people to use.
yes!! I love to see the real 4c hair being represented. this is what the natural hair movement was supposed to be all about
Instead of attaching bunches of store bought hair, fake or someone else's, and/ or covering it with ugly sateen bonnets making the ridiculous claim of " protecting" it. How does courting scalp inflammation and alopecia with gunk and fake hair 24/7 " protect it? 😢
The shrinkage is crazy! But that’s the magical part. You can switch between a twa or a medium length twist out 😍
I'm so glad that you're on RUclips and make these videos.
This is exactly the type of representation I wish I have had when I went natural many years ago
happy to hear it. i’ve always felt underrepresented so i’m becoming what i’ve always wanted to see 💖
I loved watching this and relearning how to take care of my 4c hair
thank you beautiful!
This method (no oils or butters) has been a Godsend for me!! As someone with fine hair, oils and butters have been my greatest enemy!! 😭😭
Also, fantastic technique, every coily haired person needs to see this ❤
This was such a well done video . The commentary and the simple esthetic was very enjoyable and informative . I also loved how there was no music in between you talking so we could actually absorb what you were saying and understand what you were doing . ❤
i thought some would enjoy the no music. it tends to be distracting so i don’t want to add any in my videos for that reason. and thank you!
As a kid growing up in the 70's, hair wash day was torture. My mom would be so rough and all I would do is cry and scream, which led to getting hit. Now when it grows, I shave it down because I just don't want to deal with it.
I'm so sorry you went through that, sending you love. 💖
Yes! I definitely also dealt with trauma from getting my hair done. Which is why I also cut it down. I’m sorry you had to deal with that! 😓💕
That beginning and ending look is EVERYTHING
aw thank you!!
3:45 “😊 I feel like a DJ when I do this” idk why but that was adorable
Thanks for the tutorial ive been meaning to simplify my routine to make it more easier and take less time to do it i cant wait for more videos❤
you're soo welcome! thank you for watching :)
One of the best 4C wash tutorials I've seen in a while! All the information is legit! Instant subscription👍. I've been having much better success this hair journey around because I'm already using these steps.
thank you!!💖
I have been having issues with my hair and I thought that putting more time between my washes (every 2 weeks) would alleviate it, but your video definitely changed my mind! I can't wait to try your tips this weekend
I've been trying to learn how to take better care of my hair, and this video was super informative!! I also loove your video style it's so relaxing haha. Looking forward to the rest of this series :)
thank you so much!!
I love your comment on shampoo! It’s not shampoo itself, it’s using the wrong type and also the frequency you use it that can lead to dryness and other stuff.
I’m a 3c curly hair girl and I’ve found your tips very useful ❤ thank you so much, you have such a beautiful hair.
thank you sm!🥰
Your hair is so pretty & healthy and I love your smile! 😍😍 The simplicity of the video is super refreshing. Can’t wait for more!
Your hair is so beautiful. This is the most therapeutic 4c wash day video I've ever watched. I learnt new things too. Thank you. I love this❤
This was so relaxing to watch! Loved the presentation
thank you very much 🥰
Im about to go to war with my girlfriends hair and this helped me understand her hair so much oh my god thank you.
This is for all black girls and women with kinky/coily/curly hair: our hair thrives 100% with NATURAL PRODUCTS 😊❤💚
Love this video. I have a teenage daughter who has 4C hair, so this video is just what I have been looking for. I love your explanations, your step-by-step instructions coupled with good video views, and your pleasant manner. Thank you so much for this research. ❤❤❤
I have been looking at old baby/kid photos and noticed my natural hair looks so much different than how it does now. My mom has been straightning it like crazy for years, resulting in damage and having a hard time loving my hair. I want my 4c hair back :)
My hair is currently in braids and this is making me miss it so much 😅 Great shampoo routine!
I know I cant be the only one who clicked on the video because she's beautiful, then subscribed with in secs. I need a new curl hair routine, but your gorgeous girl. werk!
As a person with 1b hair, this is very interesting and satisfying to watch! 4c hair is beautiful ❤
learnt so much from this video!!
yayyy :D
Thank you soooo much for your video. It’s so refreshing to see a routine with someone that has the same hair as mine. I’ve got thin edges as well and thin hair in general. On a journey to start loving my hair, it’s hard but thanks to people like you, my faith is slowly restoring. Much love 💕
YES omg I need this series. I cant wait for the next one! Would love to see your moisturizing, styling and maintaining methods.
This video should be a staple do every tight curly natural! Great job, i learned a lot
🇸🇩I am from Sudan and we are proud that you are my country's daughter 🥹🩷
At school i always get bullied for having rough and dense 4c hair and this really help me thank you sooo much.❤
You don't know how happy i am to see my type of hair in this light.
Thank you for this❤
I heard the intro and I subscribed immidietly. Gosh ur so sweet, we need to protect you from this world IMMEDIATELY 💗💗💗💗
This video was really helpful, thank you so much. I learned why it’s important to wash your hair regularly and I now understand why I could be struggling with scalp sensitivity. Could you please do a video showing how to wash/ keep your hair clean in braids because when I get braid I like to keep it for a long time especially when they were expensive but the my hair gets super dry and dirty.
glad it was helpful! as for braids, there are videos on youtube/tiktok of people washing their hair weekly in braids so definitely check those out! if i do get those hairstyles in the future i’ll be sure to show my washing routine then. 🫶🏾
Thank you so much
You’re so well spoken❤ I love your video but most of all your calming voice. Allahuma Sid wa barek ❤
The quality is immaculate ✨
Thank you as a while gf i want to support by partners manbun dreams. But his dad never wanted to get his hair done as a kid just a buzz cut. We are really grateful for the straightforward video.
Great video! I’m a guy looking for tips to better handle my 4c hair and this helped a lot
I found your video therapeutic and can see why you take your time with your wash days. Gorgeous hair and beautiful spirit.
this was so informative, pls do a styling video
up next!! x
your unbelievably beautiful🫶🏽🤍
aw thank you!
Thanks I’m growing my hair out after shaving it all my life and im completely lost.
Dudeee you are so freaking pretty omg! You are literally gorgeous, I hope you never forget that🥰
Omg you're the pretty girl from pinterest. Giiirl you are all over my divine feminine board. So beautiful ❤
Honestly this is the year I get up and learn how to take care of myself and my hair
TYSM this is just what i need, ive been struggling with my hair for a very long time.❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Honestly I just wash my hair every two weeks and use conditioner a lot and my hair doesn't break. Hair growth is natural so just focus on avoiding tension on your strands that leads to breakage. At the end of the day your hair is perfect with enough care.
My 4c hair is 10-12 inches and it also takes me 30-40mins to wash, detangle and dry
This is such a wonderful video!! Thank you so much for posting this! It really helps!
I know this video is about hair but girl ur black shine is gold....such amazing skin❤
I'm watching this video even though i dont even have 4c hair 😅😅 I'm more on the type 3 spectrum but i still enjoyed watching this video :D
For your next video. You should do different styles. STRETCHED HAIRSTYLES AND SHRUNKEN AS WELL
This is a top notch video.
So informative!
This will be the video I refer others to.
❤❤
Loving the tight curls, l can relate. Will be trying your routine soon. I cant wait for more of your videos. Well done
Thank you! I’ve had dreads all my life and recently reverted back to natural. I’m 4c and all the hair care gurlies are 4a
OMG i just realized my mom used to wash my hair with her nails and thats why i used to find little bumps and scabs on my scalp! But i wash my hair by myself now
Omg, me too. I have bumps as well. My mum used to detangle my hair with shampoo as well, not conditioner and it was so painful. When I learnt how to wash my hair myself, I was literally dancing with joy.
Thank you so much 🥹❤️
I misread the thumbnail as "the cutest hair type" 🤭
perioddd😹😹😹
i started finger detangling and i havent had breakage at all. plus i started doing natural braids to reduce even more breakage
Best hydration for hair is WATER. Im happy you mentioned washing the hair at least 1x week
Finally found some 4c hair advice from someone whose hair is just as short as mine 😭.
Wash day tomorrow ... trying to repair my hair so I'm trying to understand what I'm doing wrong because i rarely manipulate or use heat on it ,this is really helpful thanks❤
not me being shook at the shrinkage while i have a whole head of shrinkage myself....
OMG haven't seen this gorgeous skin in a while 🤩
Wow I love this hair
thank you!
Off topic though but your voice is so soothing ❤❤
You’re absolutely stunning!
Your hair is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your routine 🫶🏿😁
This video helped me a lot and j got so much valuable info from it. Thank you!!
Its lovely seeing sparse 4c hair getting some representation 😊😊😊
Her hair looks very thick to me!😊🎉
tight curls are the biggest illusion! xD
So simple. So effective. Thank you.

I love your 4 c hair it's like mine just beautiful.🥰
hello! i love your video! i can’t find the other parts 😭
I’m not a 4c girly but I’m watching this so I can help 4c girlies :)
8:00 yes! Same for meee! I also have trichotillomania, which is even worse because I pick out my edges and my front and side of my hair is already so thin and fragile that it’s harder for me to style. I’m working on it though.😅
your hair is so long and beautiful
When I am detangling my hair I usually use rosemary and cloves water to detangle
These tips and tricks are amazing thank you ❤
I have 3C/4C hair. I have my times most times. I just learn how to manage my hair as I go and to mostly find the right products. My little has 4C and wants to do it herself and it's hard because she up in age as a child that don't understand how to yet? It gets tangled fast and hard to deal with because of her stubbornness. As a mother I try my best.
You mean 4b/4c? 3c is wildly different from 4c
kept in conditioner for 5-6 mins, then detangled, braided them, then washed out.
Loved this video so much, thanks for your tips and advices ❤
yo ngl ur really pretty
Once a week, I shampoo then deep condition. Then I comb my hair. It’s best for me to comb it after dc because it’s no struggle.
Gorgeous!!!! You should definitely make more shower videos
you’re so pretty
thank you!
skin is beautiful!!
you’re gorgeous 😍😍😍💜💜
