I got 7 quail from a quail farm and I have them in a large aviary I’m waiting for them to start laying so I can hatch those eggs, this did help tho so thanks

What kind of quail are these? The guy that we get our chickens from gave us 5 hatchlings and at 3 weeks they look just like these. Same markings and almost the same size. They grow fast!
These quail are very scared and stressed, they hate open spaces and need more cover to hide and feel secure, plants logs etc. How stressed they are playing a big role in egg production.

They sometimes crow. my next door neighbour says they haven't heard anything though but sometimes i can hear them from the kitchen.
If you don't have male... No noise will come... Only female is good for egg production no need male quail.

Generally, they stop laying in winter when there is less daylight. I gave mine artificial light one winter and they have kept laying ever since.

Thanks, They had just been moved in and this allowed me to get a clear view. I had added boxes and branches after.
