Naturally I bought the original Anaconda in the 90s and the new ones are supposed to last longer. Many firearms I have bought have been discontinued models. Particularly with Deluxe rifles-lol. I never buy them for a gain in value anyway. And once I own one I’ll leave them to kin. My Steyr Mannlicher,Kimber SiperAmerica, Browning ABolt mountain titaniun,Beretta Cheetah… The list goes on-lol. It is what it is. Glad I plan on keeping all of them. Finding parts if I ever need to may be a disappointment. The good thing is I can rationalize that I should buy others and retire the discontinued models,or lightly use them. It’s always fun buying a new firearm.
The action of the Anaconda will be the same as the new Colt Python. Just using a bigger frame. Not like the old Colt Anaconda that used a coil spring Colt Trooper like action.
True. Colt sends early production models of the Python and Anaconda to be reviewed and create hype for a product that we'll never be able to find anywhere.
A lgs has the polished Anaconda and Python in stock. Everyone there looking bat them were under the impression they weren't as good as the old ones, they didn't own an old one or even touch the new ones. Rumor mill is running on these lol.
It would be awesome if at the 2023 shot show they revealed a brand new 4 inch barrel anaconda

Another Colt unicorn that only gun reviewers will ever get to use

New anaconda 6lb trigger pull cocked 10lbs double action totally different action but its better? I don't think so.
I hear you but words are not enough I need to see the Colt Anaconda up close and personal
the new one is better
I got the original in 8 inch and flawless gun. So tell me another. New isn’t always better
New one is better cause they handle heavy loads...
