  • Breathing for singing can be really confusing for singers! There are many schools of thought and different breathing techniques are required for different styles. Singers also tend to overthink breathing which then causes more tension and frustration. This practice is exploration for you to feel breath in your body. We will move through five different postures, becoming aware of sensations of breath, then add some voiceless and voiced consonants and accents to understand core muscle engagement and release involved in the breathing process.

    Hey Rosie! So I done this session and to summarize it, I still feel anxious about not being able to take deep breaths and subconsciously keep forcing down my breaths even tho I want to stop doin it? I did feel ONE deep breath in childspose tho but I couldnt get that nice deep breath again. Can you help me? I booked a consultation call with you!

      Great, we can chat further then! You will be able to find your breath without that feeling of anxiety but it's remembering it can take time as our habitual ways are engrained in us. There are techniques you can explore - I look forward to chatting on Sat :)
