OW2 Climbing Bug

- This happens so freakin' often. I main Hanzo and Kiriko and this happens every single game. I rarely play Genji but I've had it happen with him as well. This gets me killed or messes up a play way too often.

This so so annoying it happens most notably in front of the enemy team or when trying to get into position ... Sometimes just gotta abandon the position and help the team cause it just aint working
Pretty much. I was able to do this after a team kill, so I quickly got a video of it. 😅

This has been happening to me woth Genji, I've died several times because of it.
@@church6134 Hopefully it gets patched soon. Hanzo and Kirko are weak enough as is, but at least Kiri can teleport out of danger. 😅
Put climb on toggle then
@@Anubiraikiriko is weak?! She can was run, teleport and cleanse/go invulnerable? Plus she can two shot squishies with decent aim, she's one of the strongest heros in the game
@craigwolfe249 I believe Kiriko’s crits only do 112.5 damage. Meaning there’s only 2 heroes she can two shot, and she has the smallest ammo in the game. That are also projectiles. So not only does she have to have the most precise aim in the game, she has to accurately predict where her target will be, which changes depending on distance. She’s only dangerous in very skilled hands.
@@Anubirai hmm I guess it's changed since the newer changes, but she has been meta since launch, I love playing her as she does everything and more, on top of all that she has a tiny hitbox too.
She still is easily the best support in the game along with ana, and definitely one of the strongest heroes in the game, she is in no way weak
Maybe look in settings and change the climb to toggle?

It can actually be used to an advantage at times, you can keep constant high ground and play dive
She doesn’t stay on the wall though, she hits the ground every time. But even if she did, you’d have to know when and where it would activate. It doesn’t always happen and doesn’t always happen in the same place.
You are thinking about the old wallclimb bug, its patched now. It was a bug usable on genji kiri and hanzo if you binded jump to scrollwheel it would allow you to infinitly jump/wallclimb.
Nah it happens to me on Hanzo all the time. Whether its some poorly place object on the floor before the wall or some piece of shxt at the top preventing you from climbing over. Poor map design and poor patching.
Yikes, that's not great. Is this just on New Junk City or is it on all the maps you've played? Might wanna run a solo custom to run through each capture, push, and hybrid map and see if it's the characters or just specific maps. Seems the Shimadas are having some issues.
Happens every map, in every game in random places. Some times it’s just once, or multiple times like this.
@@Anubirai man, that sucks :( hopefully it gets fixed. I know it probably won't be the most helpful, but there should be a way to talk to blizzard support about it.
This bug is just because of Necros and it actually is so annoying

@@AnubiraiNecros is a genji player that abuses game mechanics which let him essentially wall climb forever. Looks like blizzard tried to patch it and ended up breaking it.
