i just bought a quest 2 a few days ago because i had been wanting a vr headset for years, but i've never been able to afford a high power gaming pc and this headset just seemed like the best option for my budget. after using it for a couple days i've realized that i'm someone who could very easily get sucked into VR, and i'm already viewing this headset as a "first step" and that i will probably save up my money to move into pc vr in a couple years. i'm definitely happy with mine right now though, and i can already tell that it will be worth the money i spent on it, even if i only use it for a few years. im also glad that i happened to wait until it improved quite a bit to pick it up.
Awesome!! I think the Quest 2 will be known for many years as a “gateway” headset for a huge number of people. I think the current numbers say the Quest 2 is something like 90% of the VR market share right now, which is pretty crazy and very exciting for the future of VR!
True! Quest 3 price is so far expected to be around the $500 mark- I’m excited to see where it lands because a direct replacement to the Quest 2’s $399 would be ideal!
That’s a great point, I forget about the PSVR2 competition all too easily since I don’t have a PS5. But since the initial reviews have just come out on PSVR2 it seems like an impressive offering for those who do have PS5s as opposed to gaming PCs, I should keep it in mind more often!
very good and underated video!
Thank you for the kind words!
For me it's VERY worth it!!!
Glad to hear it!! I’ve gotten a ton of use out of mine. Thanks for watching!

technically, it's formerly known as Oculus since it's now gone and Facebook still exist, Oculus is also the VR part of the company.
Quest 3 isn't a Pro, it'll have it's own version in the future so price wise, Quest 3 will have the price close to the Quest 2.

@@dylanmacintosh Exactly, most probably same price as PSVR2 minus the PS5.
