What an extraordinary two-month expedition through the unique and breathtaking Saharan landscapes of Mauritania. It stands as one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. I really cannot wait to be back and explore further.
The beauty of Mauritania and the eye and sensitivity of those who know how to capture its authenticity: the silence of villages, the gentle movement of the inhabitants of these distant lands, the elegance and uniqueness of saharan dunes. I long to see it with my own eyes. Beautiful.
A fantastic representation of that legendary journey. Looking back on it, it’s one of those experiences that stay with you forever. No better place to do it than in Mauritania! Can’t wait for the next one. Great Work
Totally agree. A country that welcomed us and gave us shiny memories for generations to come. The vastness of Mauritania's landscapes and the warmth of its people made the journey unforgettable. Every moment felt like a timeless adventure etched into the heart of the desert.
I completely agree with you, Mohamed. The desert reflects our inner peace and freedom. It is a place that feels as close to Earth as it does to another planet.
The Sahara’s sand colors vary due to mineral content and geological history. White sands, for instance, often indicate high amounts of quartz, limestone, or salt-especially in areas that were once ancient lakes, where salt deposits are common. The red and orange sands get their color from iron oxide, which forms through the oxidation of iron minerals in the sand. Different mineral combinations and the Sahara’s unique climate create this beautiful range of sand colors across the desert.

الصحراء مرآة الحرية والفكر الواسع، إنه عالم منطلق البراءة، سكون لا يخالطه ضجيج الحضارة، صافية كالقلب النقي، إنه عالم أشبه بالفضاء الأرضي.
