- The foxbody coupe build has started. First thing I did was strip the car completely down. Once everything was removed I was able to start building the tube front section of the car.

That mounting plate was a nice touch. An a lot of ppl don’t realize the work that goes into building rather than buy a kit
Still liking the conversational, less-produced format where you're just taking us along while you're hammering out work on the project and less focused on filming/framing every bit of work you do.
You should make a carbon fiber or fiber glass inner fenders that replicate the original look of the old frame, purely for cosmetic looks, I think that would look pretty clean
Thank god, it’s going to have a man pedal. Loving this build. Keep that grinder spinning.
Nice to see your new project car front taking shape. Like you always say,"Go do work son"
I remember the Bibster being a couple of tubes on your old shop floor. It's good to see the beginnings of another epic ride starting out in a similar way. Cheers for bringing us all along for this one and I hope you and your family have a great Christmas.
Looks killer 👍😎👍
Be nice to see the progress unfold
Glad to see more fab content from you, bro! I love your style man. I can’t wait for your next video👍
There are carb' style throttle bodies with in-built fuel injection nozzles - if you use one of those for the petrol/gasoline, and the rails for ethanol/methanol, you can use an aftermarket EFI ECU that controls 16 nozzles and run 8 of gasoline and 8 off alcohol and simply switch over in the ECU at whatever point you want. Heck, you can make it a progressive switch over if you like.
if you made kits like that would def buy like the bottom strut tower bars 👌. as always good work
Subbed to your podcast! I need to catch up on the Bibster vids. It's been a while since I've watched fabrication vids
Looking awesome can’t wait to see the creative stuff you do to the front.
This is sick. Love the idea of keeping "stock" style. Can't wait for more!!
Use shorts for south cack syndicate, it’ll get you subs, and views. They don’t always translate over to long form content viewers but sometimes they do. Stoked for the new build.
Hell yeah back to the grass roots of building
Nice work man! Thats a nice workshop too, well done 👌🏻
Doing work Kyle!!! Gonna be 🔥 🔥
Like rest of your builds I’m diggin it
Get after it!
Great video thanks for sharing
Looking good 👍👍
Great content...thanks
We ALL have car problems, otherwise we wouldn't be here watching you 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Bloody awesome Mate, merry Xmas.
Looking good! When you are setting up your cuts on your plasma table, be sure to cut your interior cuts first, just so you don’t have the chance of the piece moving when the main part is done. Also noticed it cut a small section and then ended up going back over it. You should be able to run the cut path to be sure there are no double cuts. Always enjoy your content bro and how you describe in detail your thought process
yeah my software will do it automatically....I just failed to combine the two parts into one layer on this one
@@Thefabforums I figured it would
Man i need a four eye front end like that!!!!!
LOVE THE LOGO ON YOUR HAT 👍👍
Cool project. Will definitely sub to the podcast.
done 🤙
Did you ever consider tying in the upper bars through the firewall and into the roll cage?
G'day from West Australia, 😉
Subscribed, hope it helps with the 5k goal🙂👍👍
🙌🙌🙌
My whole purpose of searching for these videos is to eliminate the strut towers. All this work and you still have those strut towers in the way of everything.
I think ridetech makes a bolt on kit to convert to double wishbone. You can then cut out the strut tower
Hola , te sigo desde hace un tiempo
Me gustan tus proyectos

I know you prefer to fab your own but the team z tube front end is really nice
I agree...doesn't have the extra radiator room though
I'm not a metal guy, I work with wood. I like watching your channel because you are very meticulous with your work, everything is clean and well thought out. You do exceptional work, keep it up! But I got a question. The whole second half of this video all I was thinking was "why isn't he flipping the logo around on the left side tower brace?" Why? That would drive me crazy. Is there something I'm missing? Please let me know...LOL
I was wondering if you could put leds in the logos.
I have been following your channel for years starting with your carbon fiber tutorials and the wrapping of your truck. Really good tutorials and highly recommended. I have even purchased some of the tools you have featured/recommended in your tool centered videos. Thanks for sharing the knowledge and the great tutorials.
I have one question about this video's material used in the front end and the next video's strut towers. What are the dims/specs of the chromoly tubing you use? I believe you have gone into details about it in the past, but I can't remember right off the top of my head.
its 1 5/8 .085 wall I think and the 1" is .065
@@Thefabforums Thanks for the info!
CLIPPED !
What are you going to do with the lower subframe rails? Through floor connectors? Something else
I plan on connecting them....probably wont be through the floor
You're using an aluminum engine block right? That could be 100 lbs right there.
Why not flip the logo around on the passenger side?
👍👍🤙✌️
I'm assuming you've seen the flush door handles by now.
I have....I wonder how well they work and feel
Is most of that done with 1 1/2" or inch 1 5/8"?
Its 1 5/8
Hey man love the vid but can you please change up the music. Keep up the amazing work
music is really hard to come by....which is why I tend to use the same stuff
what would you like to hear?
I would love to find a good quality made front tube frame...upper and lower with strut mounts...save a million mustangs.
What brand is ur tubeing bender
JD squared I think
@@Thefabforums thanks that's one of the ones I'm looking for.
Ya got me confused, I thought you were going coil- overs on the front, than why would you keep the strut towers, guess I'm a dumb arse??????
it will be a coil over strut setup
Rather tube frame my coupe then tube front end.
lets finish one of the other projects before we start another
what other projects?
@@Thefabforums c10 the goose the bibster
@@1336kingsville c10 and Goose are finished. Bibbster just needs a few design details but I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I want to do
@@Thefabforums I’m not trying to troll ya just as a viewer a lot of loose ends seeming like unfinished jobs. Do a walk around video of each. Showing finished jobs. Thanks Kyle great videos
@@1336kingsville will do. I have a video already scheduled to drop tomorrow, but will be sure to include walk arounds on next Fridays vid

Kinda
I got bored hearing how many times you were going to kinda do something. Why not do whatever it is rather than only kinda doing it?
I have mentioned it many times. It really does decrease the viewing pleasure of what is otherwise brilliant content. You are one of my favorite automotive 'Tubers, but hearing you say kinda in every second sentence makes it quite painful to endure.
I used to let it wash over me and try to ignore it, but it seems to be getting said more and more often. I do not understand it. Do you speak like that in actual conversation too?
I am not intending to be insulting at all. It is just a suggestion that I am sure other people would agree with, that the kinda this and kinda that needs to go away.
Merry Christmas, and best wishes to you and the family.
Neil :-)
yeah you cut way too much off lol im out 2mins in i do this shit for a living and you fucked that car off
Hey viewers, wanna destroy a foxbody ? Give it to this clown
yup
