One thing I learned after a loosing trade I just leave immediately computer for few hours I find this help me a lot and I don’t overthink I just come fresh and ready again
last week i took a 6% loss on gold, this week made it back and up 8% this week well 2% over all on the last 2 weeks, so keep up the hard work. it happends to the best of us. aslong u stick to your plan n remain disciplined
Usually avoid or take lower risk trading on every 1st week of the month because previous data usually shows NFP week the markets moves weird. not saying you can't make money, but iusually I avoid NFP days :)
Been trading for over 3 years now and i can say trading is haaarrrd.. last week i lost my phase one account because i was rushing trying to pass the challenge in few weeks not managing risk
Yeah I've been there too! You can do it, it's all about patience in trading. 3 years seems a long time but trading is more like becoming a doctor - patience & perseverance 👍
Ive had a breakthrough which has helped me significantly in making profits and minimize losing streaks/mistakes...basically if you exclusively take trades at the close of the 4hr candle your life will be so much better. 1. Set an alarm 15 mins before the close of each 4 hour candle. So strictly take a trade at either 6:00am, 10:00am, 4:00pm or 8:00pm (ofcourse adjust this to account for daylight savings changes) 2. If the 4hr candle closes as an engulfing or pin bar candle in a new direction, take the trade and target a 1/1.5 - 3/1 risk to reward. Literally AVOID going down to the 1hr or 15 minute candles...timing your day around the close of each 4hour candle will significantly help with discipline, avoid FOMO and help you stick to your plan.
I would say each time that a significant loss is incurred, reduce lot sizes for all trades. It may take longer to reach profit targets but ultimately you are reducing the risk of this happening again, and trading is more about capital preservation with increasing profits over time (I do this myself and it really helps a lot)👍
It is freaking awesome indeed. You are inspiring. I enjoy your videos. Keep studying and getting better. Looking forward to celebrate when you pass your evaluation!

good transparency emily! thank you for the video, i ve been doing demo for 4 months testing my strategy. and the 2 months i've been on minus almost -4,5 % now in this since 18 days. i've almost recovered with half of risk i was doing. if i recovered. i'll start doing prop firm. thank you for encouraging me!
So this video is uploaded this week June 2024, but everything you've just analyzed was from last year as ur chart's stating 2023? This makes me wonder?!?
@@MindfullyTrading I appreciate u taking ur time to respond to my concerns and making some clarifications. Best wishes in ur trading & keep up the good work with ur channel
Hey. I am a mom of two little ones 3 and 1. why don’t you make a video about your thought and structure of day with kids. I struggle really. I have to skip da s to trade. Even weeks. If the kids are sick. Or whatever, you know what I mean. How you mage your mental health your mental strength. If I feel exhausted I feel can’t trade.
Hey ah I feel your pain mine are 2.5 and 9 months- yeah there's no easy answer. You know how it is with children, every child's different, I guess the same is for people's trading plan. I have a rough structure perhaps I could talk more about - but it's very child dependent. Unfortunately my trading is affected, I miss opportunities, miss the ability to manage some trades better. I feel like trading will be better and yield better results in a few years when they're at school, which will go quickly 👍
@@MindfullyTrading oh. I am happy you answered. Yes it depends on the own situation and children. But some thoughts and fears and struggles are the same. You don’t need to talk about the kids of course. But these kind of topics makes you a more real and near to life. It belongs to life. Specially for us women. Managing trade? Almost impossible. I since have wider SL and just check if I can. But I find it also good because I have no time to move SL or guessing here and there. Set and forget is almost the only way. I have to make decisions under pressure sometimes. And quick. And if you have a losing week it’s to talk about the reasons. To reflect. Even on camera so it’s better to understand it’s not always I wrong analysis it’s our mother brain that is elsewhere. 😂
What impresses me most about Stacey Macken is how well she explains basic concept of winning before actually letting you use her trade signals. This goes a long way to ensure winning trades.
Her technical analysis is excellent and hid interpretation/projections of the market is so accurate I sometimes ask myself if she is human haha. Point is, Stacey is the perfect trader to follow for advise and daily signals.

Losing 6% is crazy lol . Don’t care if you made that back but your risk management is off
Risk appetite is wild

I did this for 2 years. I little bit different. But at the close and open of the 4h candle.

That ending was so brutal, have had a difficult last 2 weeks as well with eurusd.
Good points made in this, thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it👍
You are inspiring, thank you for sharing that, you will bounce back in no time
Withouth an edge, long term there will be no profit, only loss. Loss of time, money and mentality.
This week was tough, markets were ranging and break outs turned into fake outs.
Glad I wasn't the only one 😉

Good afternoon
practically, all traders, at some point, have to deal with trading addiction. handle it like every other kind of habit
I know nothing about trading /investment and l'm keen on getting started. What are some strategies to get started with?
This is correct, Kathy's strategy has normalized winning trades for me also and it’s a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started..
Kathy is considered a key Crypto Strategist with one of the best copy Trading Portfolios and also very active in the cryptocurrency space.

Hey Emily, just a quick question ❓ Can day_trading become a main source of income ?
I was wondering, its been 4 years youve been trading and have not passed a prop firm.... hopefully youll gget the next one

I think she said she's back testing, right?
Yeah that's backtesting- I explained it in the video, it was deliberately not using live data 😊

How does this trading stuff work? I'm really interested but I just don't know how it go about it. I heard people really make it huge trading.
Get yourself someone like Stacey Macken who understands the market very well and is also a professional in placing trades. That's the key .
I am surprised that this name is being mentioned here, I stumbled upon some of her clients testimonies on CNBC news last week.
