      India is one of the oldest epicenter of different cultures and after soo many invasions it has survived and due to the regional and racial diversity you will feel the difference when traveling from one state to another, its like you've changed country. New Zealand is a island country and what we have learned from history books Australia and New Zealand and even usa are countries of immigrants so the culture and religion your ancestors brought with them should be the primary thing. But you can always come to India, explore and learn instead of reading random things about it on the internet.

I have only watched a few of your videos, but had heard a couple of other travel vloggers mention your name . You seem to have very noble intentions in helping that country . I have seen lots of videos of India , mostly by Harald and Mr. Bald, so became interested in your channel. I am glad you have a goal to encourage cleaning up the country . I think more people who have the means to travel, would go there , if not worried about the hygiene and illness. Maybe one day you will be remembered for making India a cleaner and safer place to travel . I have enjoyed your videos so far ( the best one was when your family came to see you and your lovely wife in India . Thanks for sharing. I am a citizen if the USA 🇺🇸. • @physics77guy

      it's the responsibility of people and not the government. the problem in India is that we rely on government too much. yes, they need to provide basic infrastructure but even if they provide we don't use it and defy orders based on our convenience. as long as people don't learn their role in the betterment of India, nothing will happen. That is what makes foreign countries different, people take responsibilities and things are done in the right way.

    • @Fan-nr9zp
      @Fan-nr9zp 4 года назад

      @@physics77guy
      I think it's both. While it is important for ppl to take responsibility for their country's cleaniness by adopting clean habits, the Indian government also needs to implement rules & regulations on cleanliness. They also need to incorporate cleaning etiquette & the value of being clean. For example, ppl should pay fines for littering. Chewing gum is banned in Singapore to prevent people spitting it out on the ground like it's often done. Also, in Japan children learn to be clean at school. They have to work together to clean their classroom at the end of each day. Cleaning time is part of students’ daily schedule. Including this element of social consciousness in the school curriculum helps the children develop an awareness of, and pride in, their surroundings.

    • @physics77guy
      @physics77guy 4 года назад

      @@Fan-nr9zp government do their part also but people just don't bother... nobody follows rules whether its traffic, hygiene or whatever. the people who has a job to implement the rules get bribes by people. so many things it's just the way things work, people just don't want to change. anybody who tries to bring change gets changed as it is an easy fix rather than changing people and their habits. they like to blame governments but when its time to do something from their side, they don't want to do it.

I love the variety of what you do and i hope you don't fall into the trap of many RUclipsrs that tend to stick with a particular type of video based on views or whatever. I hope you feel free to make videos based on what you want to make. Some videos will obviously not do as well as others but in long run i feel that it's important you make the type of content you enjoy making, not the type of content you think RUclips algorithm wants as that seems ruin the experience for most RUclipsrs and if you stop enjoying making videos, then it'll show in your work, so please make what you enjoy. If you ever need additional income in the future and RUclips isn't working, I'm sure if you ask for help, setup a Patreon and so on, people will help out and contribute. I also appreciate and respect your decision to never do sponsored videos but eventually may need to figure out different streams of income to keep going.

    Karl, I enjoyed learning more about you, Manisha, family and India. My good friend here happens to be a Hindu from India, and owns a small variety store. He and his wife are currently in India, visiting his family there in : Anahd (Gujarat)-V.V. Nagar. He had mentioned to me Amul Dairy, and I think his family is in the co-op. Thank you for the video and take care.

    Honestly, I grew up in Dubai, and I had a few Indian friends, they were kinda bad to me. Then, I moved to New Zealand, and as you know there are Indians there as well, and my experience was bad as well. But, watching your videos has opened my eyes and I'm starting to fall in love with India as well, can't wait for covid to go away so I can travel there.

      Hey Damien
      1. Mid 30s (won't release DOB for security)
      2. Nope. And no drugs either.
      3. Mince & Cheese Pies in NZ. India, it changes all the time. Chole is my favourite I would say.
      4. US, Some of Europe, Australia, Fiji. I really loved Italy, mainly for architecture and fresh food.
      5. No reason. Just happened to meet her.
      6. I used to go to the gym but these days I'm being very lazy... RUclips kind of takes over your life. Sports, I've never been interested but parents enrolled me in Soccer and Cricket as a kid. I like surfing, skateboarding, and videos games - if they're sports.

    Nice to hear a story behind the Karl we know only as a vlogger. I get your love for India.I am originally from Ukraine and I visited India when I was 18, in 1996. I had to work 3 jobs to pay for the ticket there. India is in my heart too. I know what you mean when you say that. I ended up marrying a guy from Bangladesh and I love that country too. Thank you for your channel. I watch every video and love the work that you do. The way you have mastered Hindi is very admirable as well. I think you could even create a side-channel documenting your progress with Hindi and sharing with the rest of us who are learning it too.
