      That is a fantastic idea. I got scammed by my tour guide for paying 300 Indian rupees entry ticket for visiting a tourist site that didn't require an admission fee. I deducted 300 rupees when paying him at the end of the tour. I probably would have paid him a lot more since I enjoyed my conversations and tour in my fluent Hindi language.
      Karl, if you can please also mention how much are we supposed to pay the tour guides. They always insist on saying "pay us whatever you feel like paying" and thus leaving tourists not having a sense of what fair wage to pay them.

    I have a few Indian friends in the town where I live, in Scotland.
    Started off doing work for them, fitting out shops and restaurants and some of them became good friends.
    Now I get lots of building work, directly from them and through the local mosque……When they say “I’ll recommend you to my friends,” they mean it, lol……After my first job, most of my work started coming from the Indian and Muslim community.
    I had to employ 3 more joiners, to keep up with the jobs coming in.

He's assuming that his friends who attend that mosque are "Indian" as most white people tend to do when they meet Desi / South Asian people in general. That's why I asked him if HE IS SURE that those friends he is referring to are indeed Indian, and not Pakistani or Bangladeshi (as there is a higher probability that they are either one of those than Indian, given that most actual Indians are Hindus).

    I love how "uncle" with a name I won't even try to write goes and takes care of grey hoodie guy who looks exactly like I looked when I was young and insecure and introverted, puts his arm around the dude and ask his name, involve him in the most friendly way. That really hit home for me and explained to me something.
    I discovered this channel YESTERDAY, I've watched a few videos, 5-10 maybe, not much... But I was thinking to myself up until a few minutes ago - why am I watching this? Why is this so captivating for me?
    A few reasons;
    The realness, you don't cut and edit millions of times (I already wrote this in a comment on another video),
    the realness really just extends more than that, you seem so sincere and you both seem like the best people, and your neighbors and parents. You two are just so incredibly real.

    I love how the Indian women really know how to move when they dance. What a happy cultural activity! These videos have helped me get my mind back to neutral regarding India. I watched too many of the scamming calls done by Indian workers. It got to where I couldn’t stand the sound of the Indian accent when speaking English. I was feeling a bit emotional at your family leaving. What a journey it has been .Privileged to be a part of it. Thank you for letting us into your and Manu's life like this
