staying the night at grandmas house always resulted in being woken up by loud tejano music in the morning. this was a favorite of mine and my cousins lol
i remember us going on a church trip from Rockdale TX to Schlitterbahn...we played the tape all the way up to New Braunsfels....that like 2 hours straight...(my dad was a slow driver), hahaha.....
I used to play this song back in the day. It was a real fun tune to play live on stage.

played this last night at the Marine Center and of course everyone hit the floor, even the old timers, and I mean OLD timers. Only problem is that it does remind me of you Hugo and the many many times I BEGGED for a simple station drop to use on the station I was on and you never showed me that respect or considering. Sadly enough, this is very common in Tejano music. Such a shortage of appreciation and respect for people who do things to help this music.
Dayum I remember dancing to this as a kid. Brings back good old memories chilling and parting with the whole raza. We still chill to music like this. _956
Oh Man!!!! The days of the early 90s when I used to live in Alice, Tx and had to drive to Corpus Christi, if I wanted something like a double deck cassette player. The folks there in them small towns between Alice and CorpChris used to jam out to this one, Selina, Mazz, La Mafia, and many other Tex Mex songs of those good old days.
You go you are the man God I heard that video and it just brought back so many memories anyway.. I know your very busy with family and everything but if you can give me a call I will be waiting for your call Hugo thank you Merry Christmas and happy New Year Ruben ready than he's ever been 😁🎶🎤👍

If I'm correct they made this man sing this twice on this show.
That is true. This was the only time in Johnny Canales' TV show history that a band perform the same song twice on his show.
