Always love these videos. They walk me through with first grade vernacular and don't skip all over, leaving out "hidden" secrets for cleaning! Really gives me the confidence to clean my own stuff!
Thank you! I figure video games are loved by all types of people, so it's best to keep these types of videos simple and easy to follow. No secret techniques here!
Just to reiterate, these methods can be used on jewel cases for Sega Saturn, Sega CD, 3DO jewel cases, PS1 long jewel cases, Dreamcast cases, basically any jewel case can be cleaned and have stickers removed using these methods. We'll do longbox videos too, but in the meantime this method works wonders!
Thanks alot. I wanted to make a custom jewel case for DIRT 2 and mine jewel case had some paper inside of it. Now i can get to the painting part. Again, thank you so much.
Also, I'll make a video of how to repair cracks and scratches in jewel cases. It'll be very excessive, but can be necessary depending on the item. Get ready for some polishing!
You should do a video also on a double jeweled case. Be surprised how many people don't know how to dismantle them. For example, I've got Alone in the Dark for the Dreamcast and it's got a sticker on the cover art inside its double case since it's a 2 parter. Intrested to see how you dismantle it haha
MAYBE I WILl! And actually I just did! While I'm waiting for the results and editing for my other videos, I tossed together a double-case disassembly video. Should be up this week!
Hey I found your channel from trying to find ways to repair ps2 disc without having to using drills and sandpaper and all that jazz, anyways I ordered some novus 2 and hopefully I’ll be able to bring my discs back to life and even to games I just got given to me because they were scratched and get stuck on load screens
Let me know how it turns out! Games that will run, even just to the load screen, have a strong chance of being brought back to life! I'm excited to hear about how it turns out!
Thanks for the video! Always a good strategy to strip everything out as the very first step. I would like to add that if possible, move everything stripped out far away from the workbench. Maybe put them into a tray or cardboard box for keepsake. I didn't do that that often and end up had to clean the artwork/manual as well. 😅
I always wash with water the case after using goo gone because if not it will leave a grease or oil stain on paper or manual that comes into contract with it
Do you have a guide on removie stickers from a PS1 manual? Or any game manual for that matter? Have a PS1 games and for some reason someone thought it was a good idea to put a sticker on the manual. Thanks!
I've got a few that are coming up soon! It's weird, but it's actually kinda difficult to find enough manuals with stickers to make a video! But I've found a good amount!
I love how detailed your guides are!
