It is a fact that some of the footage of the Truck in Nice (not Richards) is fake. It is also a fact some of the footage shows staging. Also the truck does not display any signs of having hit people (particularly not circa 400). So there is legitimate scepticism of the story reported by the media. Richard elected to be part of the media circus surrounding the story and still advocates the story is true. Many people, for good reason, disbelieve Richard and the "official" story. They have a right to do so. I suggest you look into the available evidence (and consider the abundance of evidence that is missing but should be present) and, if you know Richard that well, ask him to explain the anomalies since he was near the spot where the truck stopped. You may wish to ask him why he doesn't make any uniqivocal statement of his innocence or denial of involvement in any staging/ fakery/hoax. His excuse in the video (straw man argument) contradicts what leading experts in statement analysis (like Peter Hyett) say.

Reason why the case wasn't successful: The passage in question had been too vague, was the reasoning. So, the court never ruled on who was right or wrong. Really no cause at all to hype this as a big win, except for fools clutching at straws.
Gutjahr is a mainstream journalist, who went to court because of these alleged crimes against him.... but he lost. The charges against Wisnewski were dropped. So much of the truth Gutjahr likes to present to the world.

Yet just 10 days later, in a different country the same journalist films another terrorist attack that unfolds in front of him again. In any body's book the chances of that can (at best) be described as extremely unlikely. That does not mean it's impossible. If people are told something that is extremely unlikely then there is, naturally, a healthy amount of scepticism. Such a person would be happy to convince people that they and their story are genuine. His mum had been making FaceBook videos (as many families do) of his greater triumphs, but on one occasion, in desperation, she recorded him in a fit of depression and put it on FaceBook in the hopes of getting some sort of help for him. The story spread unexpectedly quickly. The public was touched and wanted to help - so they started sending money - what else can you do to help a stranger? She used it to fund a society for other Australian dwarfs. But the press also latched on to the story, and they were hounded with reporters continually in front of the house, so they took him away on a motoring vacation - but even there, they had cars driving up beside them filming him, reporters outside their hotel room etc. Then the conspiracy theories started, that he wasn't a 9 year old - he was an 18 year old actor, who, by eliciting sympathy, had made millions from other people. This brought on more unwanted press attention, in which she had to produce his birth certificate on many occasions to prove his age. The whole thing spiraled out of control, and she contacted lawyers and spent thousands getting all the conspiracy theories taken off line so that they could lead a moderately normal, dignified life without being the centre of a never-ending freak show. Lots of people are hooked on making some revenue from RUclips or other media outlets, and if they can seed a sensational story that will spread quickly, that helps their cause - so in the case above, I'd guess that somebody saw this young boy apparently making money from public contributions, and was suspicious about it and started a new, sensational story o0n a hunch, *_without_* researching the facts, either because of personal motives, or possibly just through incredulity - but the way the unexpected result of the original story that was put on FaceBook took the mother completely by surprise, so a sensational contra-story can also catch the public awareness and spread quickly. Not every original story is true, and perhaps there is more truth in the alternative, but neither can be ascertained without evidence. If you really research it and find incontrovertible evidence, then you are no longer a conspiracy theorist - you have unearthed the truth. What I do not understand in researching these claims that attacks are fake and there are crisis actors why not submit what you see as the facts, why do you have to be vulgar and threaten violence. Because they're idiots and no one in their right mind would believe them. It's just not possible to fake an attack on a crowd these days. You could create fake footage, but there is way too much anarchy to fake an attack in a populated free area - attacks are real regardless of who did them, because there isn't any institution in existence that has that much control over a population except maybe within North Korea - and even there, most ppl would know and understand the truth, they just couldnt say it. Nowhere else except very small controlled places like certain military bases maybe, could you suppress all the real witnesses all the time that would say "i was there and it didnt happen, here"s MY footage". In any situation there are a vast array of over a million+ different competing businesses and individuals pursuing only their own personal interests, most of which don't even align with more than a few other people. These people are either very sheltered and naive to think there is some higher order, or they have an inner need for order to explain things so such an org seems sensible to them but that's not how the world works. No one is driving the bus, and it's a vast array of competing interests interacting (cooperating, negotiating, conflicting, etc) causes outcomes that undermine the integrity of systems intended to preserve social contract type stuff.

So there is legitimate scepticism of the story reported by the media. Richard elected to be part of the media circus surrounding the story and still advocates the story is true. Many people, for good reason, disbelieve Richard and the "official" story. They have a right to do so.
I suggest you look into the available evidence (and consider the abundance of evidence that is missing but should be present) and, if you know Richard that well, ask him to explain the anomalies since he was near the spot where the truck stopped.
You may wish to ask him why he doesn't make any uniqivocal statement of his innocence or denial of involvement in any staging/ fakery/hoax. His excuse in the video (straw man argument) contradicts what leading experts in statement analysis (like Peter Hyett) say.

Reason why the case wasn't successful: The passage in question had been too vague, was the reasoning.
So, the court never ruled on who was right or wrong. Really no cause at all to hype this as a big win, except for fools clutching at straws.

Reason is because the judge found that the "theories" of Wisniewski were so unfounded and presented with so little - actually no - evidence at all that Wisnewskis claims cannot be called "journalistic work" (which would require a minimum of objectivity and evidence), but is merely "subjective opinion" - and, being in a democracy, this is free, even if it is absurd in it's claims.
Wisnewskis is a business driven guy who makes good money by spreading unfounded conspiracy speculations while constantly keeping his wording vague and alluding enough to not been held responsible for it. For rhethorically trained people it is easy to perceive the amount of BS that is stuffed into his videos.

There is no getting away from the fact that it is statistically very unlikely that a journalist would just happen to be filming when the alleged biggest terrorist attack in Europe unfolds in front of them.
Yet just 10 days later, in a different country the same journalist films another terrorist attack that unfolds in front of him again. In any body's book the chances of that can (at best) be described as extremely unlikely. That does not mean it's impossible.
If people are told something that is extremely unlikely then there is, naturally, a healthy amount of scepticism. This is where Richard's reaction does not appear to fit with someone who was genuinely (by utter chance) caught up in 2 real terror attacks. Such a person would be happy to convince people that they and their story are genuine. Their priority would not be to engage lawyers to attack disbelievers and try to shut down any voices questioning their story.
Richard says his only real ally was Lenny P. Lenny's back story is that he is the father of a boy reportedly killed in a mass shooting in the USA but his son (or son's photo) was also involved in an almost incredible coincidence.
The photo of Lenny's son (Noah) that got wall to wall coverage is exactly the same photo that was displayed as one of the alleged child victims killed in a terrorist attack in Peshawar in *Pakistan* 4 years after he was reported being killed in Newton.

His mum had been making FaceBook videos (as many families do) of his greater triumphs, but on one occasion, in desperation, she recorded him in a fit of depression and put it on FaceBook in the hopes of getting some sort of help for him. The story spread unexpectedly quickly. The public was touched and wanted to help - so they started sending money - what else can you do to help a stranger? She used it to fund a society for other Australian dwarfs. But the press also latched on to the story, and they were hounded with reporters continually in front of the house, so they took him away on a motoring vacation - but even there, they had cars driving up beside them filming him, reporters outside their hotel room etc. Then the conspiracy theories started, that he wasn't a 9 year old - he was an 18 year old actor, who, by eliciting sympathy, had made millions from other people. This brought on more unwanted press attention, in which she had to produce his birth certificate on many occasions to prove his age. The whole thing spiraled out of control, and she contacted lawyers and spent thousands getting all the conspiracy theories taken off line so that they could lead a moderately normal, dignified life without being the centre of a never-ending freak show.
Lots of people are hooked on making some revenue from RUclips or other media outlets, and if they can seed a sensational story that will spread quickly, that helps their cause - so in the case above, I'd guess that somebody saw this young boy apparently making money from public contributions, and was suspicious about it and started a new, sensational story o0n a hunch, *_without_* researching the facts, either because of personal motives, or possibly just through incredulity - but the way the unexpected result of the original story that was put on FaceBook took the mother completely by surprise, so a sensational contra-story can also catch the public awareness and spread quickly.
Not every original story is true, and perhaps there is more truth in the alternative, but neither can be ascertained without evidence. If you really research it and find incontrovertible evidence, then you are no longer a conspiracy theorist - you have unearthed the truth. Could I ask and example of something you believe in that you hold to be a "conspiracy theory"?

What I do not understand in researching these claims that attacks are fake and there are crisis actors why not submit what you see as the facts, why do you have to be vulgar and threaten violence. You could create fake footage, but there is way too much anarchy to fake an attack in a populated free area - attacks are real regardless of who did them, because there isn't any institution in existence that has that much control over a population except maybe within North Korea - and even there, most ppl would know and understand the truth, they just couldnt say it. Nowhere else except very small controlled places like certain military bases maybe, could you suppress all the real witnesses all the time that would say "i was there and it didnt happen, here"s MY footage". Most states and corporations are just not that capable of doing more than controlling some part of the economy to some degree, usually to make $ (in US it seems to be the prison industrial complex, because its easy to control and make money populations of incarcerated legal slaves who are seen as throwaway people) . Maybe a drug cartel would do slightly better than crony capitalists, as they seem to be better organized. But an organization could not exist as a global new world order without being leaked and dragged into the open and could not exist at all at the level of these conspiracies. The world is anarchic, not in the political sense of "without hierarchy" but in the colloquial sense of a state free of order. In any situation there are a vast array of over a million+ different competing businesses and individuals pursuing only their own personal interests, most of which don't even align with more than a few other people.
These people are either very sheltered and naive to think there is some higher order, or they have an inner need for order to explain things so such an org seems sensible to them but that's not how the world works. No one is driving the bus, and it's a vast array of competing interests interacting (cooperating, negotiating, conflicting, etc) causes outcomes that undermine the integrity of systems intended to preserve social contract type stuff.
