Vmotion was a reason for the need for stretching the L2 domain in enterprises. even though stretching the l2 had problems and disadvantages, we kind of live with those. But, when it came to cloud providers, one customer VMs can be connected to any part/rack in a data center and on top of it, if the CST want them in the same Vnet, stretching the l2 and scaling to multiple customers became a problem that we can not live with anymore. So, the idea EVPN and VXLAN. Is that correct?
