Having worked in this industry for +24 years its still difficult to keep up on the ever so changing technologies. Thank you so very much for not only your great intel but for the way to explain things!
I got that swingline as a joke and reference to "Office Space" back when I had a desk at my company's office. Since I was listed as a remote employee and didn't come into the office every day, they kept moving my desk further and further away until I was by myself in a corner of the building that nobody went to.
Hi Rich! Great content! I am now on my CCIE EI journey and your video definitely helps me understand the VXLAN. Looking forward to seeing Part 2. BTW, I believe your camera was focusing on your monitor (nice Europa picture there) instead of yourself.
Thank you. I'm working to get part 2 out this week. Also working on the focusing issue as it does seem like half of my shots are focused on the background. Good luck on your CCIE journey.
VXLAN isn't simple. Being able to have multiple layer 2 networks communicate with each other over a layer 3 network, without the layer 2 traffic being processed by layer 3 protocols isn't simple. The simple version would be a VPN, but that is point-to-point, VXLAN operates as multipoint-to-multipoint. There are offerings that use VXLAN but also deploy automation to simplify the administrative process. One such offering is Cisco ACI.

VXLAN to discover neighbors:
==> Flood and learn = to build MAC tables (consumes a lot)
==> BGP EVPN (VTEP switches share info with BGP)
Excellent content, keep it up!
How's that Swingline line working for you? Bind up much?

@@RichTechGuy Thanks! I personally use Canon EOS R for recording. The eye-detection AF works for me.
9 steps are crazy, this isn't simplifying the network
