This is 100% the best I've heard axl vocally, since around 2006 probably. Certainly the best since slash and duff rejoined. He'll never get his vocals back completely due to age, but with a lot of vocal exercises, training and hard work. He could get pretty damn close, certainly appears to have done some work on it. Also losing some of the weight has probably helped him massively too.

I've been a huge fan since I first saw them live at the Paradise in Boston, MA in Oct of '88 and the band is rockin' (even without Steven and Izzy), but am I seriously the only one that's gonna acknowledge the elephant in the room, that being Axl's vocals? He sounds... well... he sounded ten times better when he used to show up late.
yes maybe he should stop being on time. But to be honest he had some really good moments there but also some bad ones. I have been thinking if its just too much, 30 songs 3 times a week! Maybe it would be better to get it down to 20 songs and have stronger support acts that get the crowd worked up.
They killed it though. Same tempo. A lot of bands slow their tempos as they age. I've seen them twice, wish they would have had this on the setlist for those shows.

The old songs are still the BEST and thats what the fans want, personally I love most of the Chinese Democracy tracks too!
there is nothing better and they are always performing %110 and fun to watch.
