Nice Rayquaza cards mate👌
One set that doesn’t get mentioned too often is Blue Sky Stream, the Rayquaza artwork on that booster box is bloody beautiful!🤩

In terms of reduced viewership, the only thing that would make me leave your channel would be the diversions. Openings and material related to other sets such as DBZ. Otherwise, you have my full attention every other morning before work 😂

Always look forward to your videos. The fusion strikes and Astral radiance and Lost Origin boxes, I think you have hit the hammer on the head. You have to get these.
Just as matter of opinion where do you rank Chilling Reigns in Sword & Shield? Fourth?

Side note, very relatable video - in the sense you not only talk about it, you actually do it... What I'm doing 2024 so far? A couple lost origin & astral radiance booster boxes. Lost origin will see some big increases due to the depth & massive chase.

Sealed collector primarily on this side too mate 👍 Singles, I actually sold out a huge amount of mine recently. There are A LOT of Sword and Shield singles out there at the moment. I'm not sure the market will move super well for some time to come. The sealed on the other hand could be on the cusp now of blowing up!
Sealed is definitely a safer bet hey! Singles can be quite volatile but sealed is a nice slow grind up! Or fast in some cases 😅

what ive mostly bought in order, 151 japanese + the singles for collection, Chilling reign, LO , and 2 boxes of each SV set. i only consider 151 and SwSh as an investment, and Ive been sitting on my Evolving skies for almost 2 years now. reduced viewership is probably bc the economy is not as hot, so people are not spending on "luxury" items like pokemon. Hopefully you can continue to upload through the "bear" market

There are so many investment channels with so many opinions that are either geared to the country or the personal preference of the speaker that many don’t know who or where to turn. I can say after watching many people for 6 months straight this channel speaks true especially as I’m in AUS thank you for all you do mate

@@pokeoz91 I believe it but Is that all you have gotten so far? I really feel like the youtuber investor should be investing more than the average fan. I know for a fact alot of these other pokemon investors on youtube arent buying any boxes. They're just pumping out videos.
@PokeBeardTCG There's also the "going on a journey" with your viewers' plan as well. My focus the last 4 weeks was to buy as much fusion strike, lost origin and Astral radiance as possible. How about you? What have you been buying? You also give market advice.
@pokeoz91 yea, I started a new thing where at the beginning of every month I show what IM PERSONALLY investing in for that month and then I actually show what I got the next month. But yea, I'm buying as much as I can. There are so many good options out there right now. It really Sucks that you guys have to overpay on everything over there.
@PokeBeardTCG Occasionally items are cheaper, like Fusion Strike boxes were so much cheaper here for about 2mths but now they've caught up to U.S prices 👌

I don’t collect the big price singles. I go to the shops and look through the binders and am more than happy picking out $1 cards that I like and add them to my own binder, knowing full well they aren’t all worth that $1. But when it comes to sealed investing, I like the top dollar stuff!

I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts on Battle Styles booster boxes, they’re about $105 USD right now, think they can hit $200 by the end of the year?
Poor Battle Styles hey. Personally I quire like the set, first set with alts in sword and shield and some nice ones too. Eventually it'll rise! But market sentiment towards a product has a big pull and the general consensus is its a thorn amongst a lot of roses.

I bought 10 boxes of Japanese 151 at 65€~70$, and you still can buy them for under 100.

It's becoming such a good buyers market for singles. I finally picked up a Corocoro Mew to add to the collection. That 2005 Rayquaza you snagged is sick. It's a good feeling to turn the investor brain off sometimes and just add to the collection what you enjoy. Appreciate you!

I disagree with second biggest chase card. The gengar vmax in fusion strike is over 1000 aud now in psa 10

Just recently started watching your vids. I'm a person who likes to listen to my own opinions when it comes to investing/collecting. But I like your takes. Such as Astral being a sleeper set. I completely agree. You seem to have a good grasp on everything. So you gained a sub 👍

Great video mate! That rayquaza is a bit of a sleeper in my opinion but it’s a great card. I’m on the fence on whether to attempt to buy more 151 singles atm but not too sure if I should just wait and hope prices drop, any thoughts? Also I did end up buying that evolving skies booster box!📦 😊

What do you feel is currently the right price for a Japanese 151 booster box?

First. Looking back at hidden fates. I don't think it is actually that great. Based on artwork Paldean fates i think is far better
yep all the baby shinies, charizard, mew, gardevoir. its definitely a more collectable set, i reckon it will be a dark horse
I think a big deciding factor will be print run. Hidden Fates got so many waves!

They're going for about $160 now after the reprint.
I picked some up for $135 a box which I felt was a really good price.

Hi, nice video, nice insights, thanks for that ! Would you say 3 Pack Blisters are as good as getting boxes if u dont have the money and want to diversify ? If I divide booster boxes by 36 packs, the price per 3 packs is sometimes significantly higher than for a 3 Pack Blister..and in the longrun blister prices are matching the pack prices from a box from what i have seen. Would love to hear your standpoint on that

All great pickups Michael. Just curious, what is your personal outlook for Astral Radiance? I'm putting it somewhere around $160 USD at the end of the year (assuming it sells out on the PC).
I definitely think it's a sleeper and yeah depends on what happens on PC. But agree with your take there!
I picked up the 2nd box of Evolving for 444usd lol Then I saw Lost Origins for $130 so picked up that too

Do you keep only sealed ETBs in your collection and never opens it? I am starting my collection of ETBs. My order will likely arrive today, but I will probably open it and keep rest of my sealed stuff for investment. :D

Perhaps there are stories behind the card and how they’re obtained or just people gushing over the art or artist involved in making the card. Do you think that the yokohama pikachu deck is a good long term investment? The pikachu ex promo has about 10k copies in a psa 10 but the card is really nice so I'm not too sure.

pokemon collecting in switzerland is hard. I cant get a booster box for reasonable prices. idk lets say scarlet and violet base booster box coverted in my currency is 100bucks. i wont find it under 120... unless i import it but the taxes on it wont make it worth it. Its like i hunt for the best deals and its not even a good deal in the us for example. Still thank you for the video ✌🏼

Sorry I know we all wanna make money on the side and I like your content but seriously asking people to donate super thanks and pay to be a member screams disingenuous behaviour to me. Gonna un sub and not watch. People will pay you for content if they want to not because you ask.
It's always difficult to know where the line is with this sort of thing. I don't always think things like Patreon and Memberships are bad, especially if you're providing value in return. Then on the other side of the spectrum you get idiots like Rattle asking for 100k in donations when we very recently saw him waste 15k+ opening Evolving Skies packs. Personally I think putting a short clip at the end saying how to become a channel member and what the perks are would be better. Putting in in the middle of the video is more likely to grind peoples gears.
@@monkey39128 yeah of course but actually saying like hey to help my channel send me a super thanks or pay for my membership is really bad form. People know they can send super thanks and you can shout your membership out without begging to join. He also acts like he’s creating content that takes super amount of effort to make but no it’s something he does in his spare time. I wouldn’t be surprised he jumps on the mystery packs scam soon cannot stand poketubers who do that.
