I'm watching this at 6am in Los Angeles reminiscing about my trip to London 2 years ago back in April of 2019
Glad we a bringing back what I think are good memories. There are more videos where this came from :).
In Scotland you can get a Scotch pie. It’s a round meat pie and the best flavoured ones tend to have a high fat content. When you heat up the tastiest ones, they fall to pieces as the greasy fat runs out of them. Do not be scared of fat. Your body is designed to run off fat as fuel and it’s what gives food its taste. Just give up bread, sugar, and be as low as you can on carbs, and you won’t put on the pounds. Btw, vinegar is good for the prevention of acid reflux.
“Sunday Roast”…..not just in England, I grew up eating a sumptuous roast beef dinner every Sunday here in the United States 🇺🇸
Kind of guessing you are situated in the east portion of USA? Traditional English meals were and are still found on the east coast. History - which country took hold of our east, New England area had something to do with that.
what you call Corned Beef... in Australia we call it Silverside. and we also pronounce that bread roll as a Bay=gal... :) plus we use Flake for our fish N chips, which is shark, you can order a few other variety of fish if its on the board, but 99.9% you get Flake, yummy thick white flakes of fish :)
Interesting! Thank you for sharing, Rose :)
@@FreeToursbyFootLondon bet.Rose shared...............nothing........
Eels in jelly............delicious..................not in fashion............like caviar..........vinegar/pepper..........

Cool video Jessica, love it. 🥰😋
I had the best meat pie I've ever had SOMEWHERE in or around London. I can't remember whether it was London or Windsor. It was so good I tried to duplicate it as soon as I got home. Did fair job, but it wasn't like that one in London.
Love the full breakfast mmm
Thanks for sharing!
Our pleasure!
May your Christmas sparkle with moments of love, laughter and goodwill, and may the year ahead be full of contentment and joy.

Now I'm hungry....Well done Jessica!!!!
Glad you liked this one, Mary!
My favorite fish and chips must include plaice, not cod or haddock, and double fried chips. It isn't worth eating otherwise.
I also love Bubble and Squeek. Some say it's Irish, but my Gran made it any time she had left over cabbage, mash and streaky bacon.
Don't forget a good leg of lamb on Sundays either. I'd talk my Gran into making Yorkshire Pud even though it was lamb, not beef! I was a spoiled child! Lol
You're making us hungry, Abigail!
@@bigailgetlach Couldn't disagree more. Plaice was available in all chip shops in the 60's and 70's. There is a reason it is no longer popular, it is horrible.
Enjoyed the video. Cheers from New Westminster B.C. 😊

Good review the only thing I’m gonna say is if you have Pie & Mash liquor you must try the stewed eels. Much easier to eat for the first timer than the jellied eels and there’s no butter on the bread when eating jellied eels just lots of vinegar and a pinch of pepper.
Thanks for the tip!
Try a top hotel its awesome
I couldn't with oysters and eels the look of them makes me feel queezy
we'ld like receipes for crumpets and other typical foodies !
I Love London ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰

They told me the food in the UK was bad, but it was good.
Glad to hear it! Old stereotypes are hard to shake :)
During a pandemic
Hello! This was filmed in June, when numbers were very low. We made sure to wear masks indoors and stay socially distanced. :)
I dont think you are correct ... afternoon tea is as you describe, but my understanding is that HIGH tea is a meal in the late afternoon. instead of dinner, and will consist of cooked food , for instance, sausage, mashed potato, , or any simple cooked food.
You're correct about high tea being a more substantial meal. It's origins are working class.
A yank on London pub tour . What next. Give ve me mr Caine anytime
She's not a Yank but thanks for your thoughtful critique!
Great video. The only problem is that it made me hungry and I’m already fat. You guys are gonna give me a heart attack.
You may have given us a video idea. London's best places to eat healthy.
@@FreeToursbyFootLondon 🤣🤣 that was not my intention and very cruel thing to do. Maybe Londons best desserts or London’s best sweets. That’s more my video!😆😆
Are you Canadian?
She is, yes :)

It's a pity that all of this food, are health hazard, when I used to live in London, I was young and I had all of them, but today, I prefer to feed myself with healthy food.
An American...telling us where to eat ffs...
She's Canadian but thanks for your insightful comment.
