I remember how amazing she was when I first saw her on idol - her story was amazing - she couldn’t read and memorized everything so people wouldn’t notice. God had a plan for her. 😘
I had the pleasure of meeting her when she checked into the hotel I was working. She was so genuine and humble. So glad she made it. She had just won American Idol and wanted to know where to shop. I started rambling off highend stores and she was like ,' no, no, nope, I don't have that kind of money'. 😂 My co-worker directed her to Marshalls, TJ Max which were right next to each other, plus the Macy's. She was so sweet and beautiful. Naturally beautiful.

Love her voice and style. I often wonder why she has not gotten the "flowers" she deserve!
Remember she wanted to go independent, and she wanted to make the music she wanted. She didn't want to be controlled by the big record labels. Because of this, she lost a lot of backing, and support. She didn't have the type of funds of course a large established company has to fund, and promote the same way they do. So, with that being said, she has had to reinvent herself, or just be true to herself.So in order to do that independent takes alot of love, and soul searching. She may have lost a few flowers along the way. But with that drive, love of God, and determination, she is, and will get the flowers that are for her, the flowers that she loves, and the ones she deserves!

Definitely!! Plus, the sound people get too much money for it not to be perfect. When the sound is wrong it messes the singer's vibe and potentially their voice. So I can't blame her one bit!
