I was trying to learn this song on guitar and stumbled across this video! Speaking as a mature, senior Black grandfather, I must say that watching it repeatedly I was emotionally touched ... seeing these young people exemplified the best of expectations for future generations of American youths, both Black AND White. I don't see future drug addicts, social derelicts or criminals. Instead I see future positive societal contributors, groomed to respect themselves and value each other as young men and women. I hope they ALL stay the course and prove that beauty, elegance, charm and manners will always outshine thuggery and t.h.o.t-ery!
Thank you so much. Many of these kids are now in college. Our goal is to show them that there is greater in their future

I'm a grandfather and I admit, I have definitely gotten misty-eyed, especially when I watch it with my 5 year-old granddaughter while she sings along!
I am smiling from ear to ear. This is lovely, and elegant. I pray they hold this near, and dear to their hearts. I wished my teenager experienced an event such as this. This pandemic has put a stop to us embracing each other in dance, song, and poetry. Our young Prince & Princesses are magnificent.

This was so beautiful to watch, and to one of my favorite songs. The choreography was very elegant and classy. No booty shaking and crotch grabbing. No sagging with the underwear showing, or deep cleavage and thongs. So proud of the young lady that is the founder, as well as the young people who care enough about themselves to appreciate the mentoring. What a blessing. I can bet you, that you probably would not even recognize some of these young people. This was a choreagraphed piece and done as such. There will be no going back to "those days" we don't live in the past, this is the here and now. Instead of talking about the classless young people of today, why not reach out and help them along their way.
