    Another reason I also use Red Label is that it holds an FG knot better than the more expensive Seguar lines. I saw somewhere that it is not as smooth so it doesn’t slip as easy.

    • @MarkDanielsJr
      @MarkDanielsJr  Год назад

      Great question that I didn’t address in the vid. Every situation is different, but I generally start by casting to my target and letting the bait sink slack line to the bottom. I then follow that by a few twitches and letting the bait sink back to the bottom if I don’t get a strike reel in and make another cast 👍🏾

    • @morganvanschuyver
      @morganvanschuyver Год назад +1

      He says it's a wacky rig but he's rigging it neko. Guarantee you he's losing fish the way he's rigging it like that.

    • @MarkDanielsJr
      @MarkDanielsJr  Год назад

      @@morganvanschuyverHaha man you funny. Not losing any fish to be exact but it’s all personal preference. Rig it how you like

    • @MarkDanielsJr
      @MarkDanielsJr  Год назад

      I’m rigging this bait parallel with the lure. The only difference is nail weight versus no nail weight. I lose very few if any fish on this set up.

    What's good cuz I throw a wacky worm on a 8lbs test line with a 7 foot ungly stick and 12 lbs power pro with 10 gold label flrocarbon and it catch some big Bass everytime.

    • @tangoindiamike9189
      @tangoindiamike9189 Год назад

      I'm confused about your setup. You said 8 lb. test line, 12 lb power pro, and 10 lb gold label flrcarbon. That's three different weights. If your line is 12 lb power pro and your flrcarbon leader is 10 lb gold label, what part of your rig is 8 lb?

  • @opinionatedviewer7730

    The tools are for the birds. Just slide that ring over the slimmer end. It's softens the plastic by popping some of that salt out as it slides down.

    • @MarkDanielsJr
      @MarkDanielsJr  Год назад +1

      Sometimes this will discolor the bait, that’s why I like the tool but yes you can do this 👍🏾

    I bought some 3/8" clear heat shrink tubing from Amazon. I cut it into 1/4" pieces and shrink it onto my senko with a bic lighter. The worm tears less, and the hook stays in the tubing. I normally can use just one piece in a typical 3 - 4 hour fishing trip.

    Mr. Daniels Jr, you never talk about how you fish the rig... It looks like you swim the rig, oppose to letting it just let is hit bottom.. What are you looking for the lure to do? HOW ARE YOU WORKING THE LURE? GIVE ME THE DEPTHS?
