U might have siced it a little bit but hey I hear ya lol. He's just a man trying to make a living in the fishing industry. U might want to actually look at the gospel instead of fishing vids lol
Love the straight talk, that's why I keep coming back and watching!! Love rate the bait as well, should make an sitcom with the boys, think it would be a great comedy!
My daughter told me she met you guys at Cayuga lake she was in charge of all the boats that was coming in making sure there boats were all set she goes to college up there I didn’t know exactly about the lake until she said dad u should come up but she was so calm about it then I realized when she told me about the lake how bad I want to get up there and after watching u guys catch those biggens in Massachusetts there’s know lake that size with fish like that I don’t even know how it feels to catch one that size I’m so fenning to save a some dollars get up there and feel what u guys feel
A follow up to my earlier reply. Picked up a spool of 12 lb red label. Feels good, ties up nice. We'll see if it can unseat the brand I have been using for over 15 years. Go get 'em tomorrow !!
Another reason I also use Red Label is that it holds an FG knot better than the more expensive Seguar lines. I saw somewhere that it is not as smooth so it doesn’t slip as easy.
MDJ I keep a wacky rig tied on year round and living not that far from you in Alabama we fish the same waters and this rig produces in all conditions in my opinion, keep up the good work and God bless
This is one technique that I have never tried, I've bought the O-ring kit but never used it, I'm going try this week hopefully, I've watched you at Cayuga & you definitely inspired me to try it, I'm enjoying this series, swim jigs would be a good one because there so many different brands to choose from!🎣👍
Great question that I didn’t address in the vid. Every situation is different, but I generally start by casting to my target and letting the bait sink slack line to the bottom. I then follow that by a few twitches and letting the bait sink back to the bottom if I don’t get a strike reel in and make another cast 👍🏾
What's good cuz I throw a wacky worm on a 8lbs test line with a 7 foot ungly stick and 12 lbs power pro with 10 gold label flrocarbon and it catch some big Bass everytime.
I'm confused about your setup. You said 8 lb. test line, 12 lb power pro, and 10 lb gold label flrcarbon. That's three different weights. If your line is 12 lb power pro and your flrcarbon leader is 10 lb gold label, what part of your rig is 8 lb?
I bought some 3/8" clear heat shrink tubing from Amazon. I cut it into 1/4" pieces and shrink it onto my senko with a bic lighter. The worm tears less, and the hook stays in the tubing. I normally can use just one piece in a typical 3 - 4 hour fishing trip.
Mr. Daniels Jr, you never talk about how you fish the rig... It looks like you swim the rig, oppose to letting it just let is hit bottom.. What are you looking for the lure to do? HOW ARE YOU WORKING THE LURE? GIVE ME THE DEPTHS? STOP PLAYING WITH MY EMOTIONS!~!!
MDJ a person that the Lord gave us to learn from you are such a awesome Angel man love you and everything you do brother
U might have siced it a little bit but hey I hear ya lol. He's just a man trying to make a living in the fishing industry. U might want to actually look at the gospel instead of fishing vids lol
I think you’re BOTH right
Love the straight talk, that's why I keep coming back and watching!! Love rate the bait as well, should make an sitcom with the boys, think it would be a great comedy!
Gonna put my trust in this wacky setup for the summer, and follow your advice Mark. Thanks for the advice!
Set up video for throwing swim jigs or small glide baits. Thanks MDJ!
Thank you for taking the time to explain in detail. Excited for the next one! Good luck the rest of the season MDJ!
Logan Martin, here I come with a wacky rig
Really appreciate this I’m trying to learn but got no one that I know that knows how to fish
Keep going out and practicing. It takes time to figure all out but if you keep grinding you’ll be successful
From a former central valley delta fisherman- your the man! God bless.
Swim jig set up please 👍 good stuff mdj. Just recently watched your season of circuit breakers
Need more video's like these! Thanks Mark

Love the information on the setup series!
Awesome video Mark. Thanks for the detail and great presentation. So good I might even be able to catch one.👍
You da best MDJ. Keep it up!

MDJ on the move again... we'll be watching.
Thanks great video! After the setup could you also discuss or demonstrate the right retrieve techniques for the lure.
Love you content buddy 👍🏻

Wacky is the way 🎣 🙌🏾
Good job Mark.
This my not be the time or place can you tell a little on how to practice for a new tournament angler

Thanks for the tip
Baby bass...the best color thats forgotten about!
I feel like I need to check out this lake. I normally fish Black Lake in Hammond NY.
Great info thanks.
Great information 👍
🎣Good Luck have fun.
This is some good stuff
Mark, can you fish straight braid and no leader line? Please respond.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing the set up with us!! If you could maybe explain to us how you work the rig?
Great question that I didn’t address in the vid. Every situation is different, but I generally start by casting to my target and letting the bait sink slack line to the bottom. I then follow that by a few twitches and letting the bait sink back to the bottom if I don’t get a strike reel in and make another cast 👍🏾
Will do
Did you edit part of the video where you talked about your rod?
Wacky rig has to be on the deck👍.. Keep the videos coming Mark. Do work 💪
🔥🎣🔥💯 Thanks for the great information 👍🏾
Thanks
I use red label as a leader line. 8 lb test for summer and 6lb for winter. Prefect for bank fishing
Red Label
St Clair is ours‼️
Are you rigging these Wacky Style (hook point perpendicular to bait) or Neko (hook point parallel to bait)?
He says it's a wacky rig but he's rigging it neko. Guarantee you he's losing fish the way he's rigging it like that.
@@morganvanschuyverHaha man you funny. Not losing any fish to be exact but it’s all personal preference. Rig it how you like
I’m rigging this bait parallel with the lure. The only difference is nail weight versus no nail weight. I lose very few if any fish on this set up.
How do you tie the red label to the braid?
When you neko rig a slim shake do you use an o-ring?
Yes
Any hook size for it
Love me some Babybass
Good luck tomorrow

The tools are for the birds. Just slide that ring over the slimmer end. It's softens the plastic by popping some of that salt out as it slides down.
Sometimes this will discolor the bait, that’s why I like the tool but yes you can do this 👍🏾
@@MarkDanielsJr ahhhh never thought about that, there's a reason this guys a pro. Love ya bud!

Instead of an o-ring try a wacky saddle from frenzy bait company.
💯🔥🔥
Good... 👍👍👍❤❤❤
Good 👍

💪🏾💪🏾🔥🔥
No weight ?

He forgot to ask, do you run this set up with a weight?
keep them comimg MDj
FIRST
I have absolutely zero confidence in a senko. Spent countless hours throwing one, never caught a fish on one though haha.
Never go straight black with your worms 🪱 😎
