I write this comment to yell "Bravo!" to these two pianists. The drama comes from the performance, not the ability to play the notes of a composer. These are accomplished performers who have splendid techniques, the ability to play dramatically, as well as technically perfect. Musically, they play this orchestra piece technically perfect and dramatically enhancing. This is a fantastic team! Bravo!
the reason why i like this version better than most is not because of the two pianos or even that these two people have more talent than the other's i have seen play this... it is simply because i can just hear them feel it. the fact that they are throwing themselves into the piece and feeling the energy generates a powerful vibe... they are truly great musicians, not because they have fast fingers, but because they know how to feel.
this is simply bloody awesome.... does anybody know if these performances (and the other ones from the same concert I guess) are available on video DVD?! I've been looking for them for like ages but found nothing...

That's very moving and one of the best compliment I heard. Thank you very much. FDN.
Most underrated video on RUclips. Brilliant works guys!
Heard this by the Jussen brothers. This is much, much better!
The piece sounds more dissonant and modern when played on two pianos. These pianists seem to be enjoying the performance. Love it!
they would be delighted for sure ! :)
fantastic coordination between the 2. and the 2 assistants, good job flipping pages!

I didn't realize John Oliver played the piano
I want to hear Georges Cziffra arrange this
Aaron Bobeck I got some bad news for you, buddy: Cziffra will not be able to arrange this for you at this time.
Beautiful played - I only knew the version for 1 piano (by Victor Staub) Do these giants also play Lutosławski's Paganini - Variations ?
check out "the 5 browns", they do it on 5 grand pianos, its amazing.
who wants to here it on the organ
Play this along with the cartoon and this would become more entertaining.
