Ugh I cannot stand the "who is she/we forget about her edit." Let me see.. so contestant does not produce required drama.. 🤔 let's just forget about all obvious, actual model potential and make some shit up about her personality. (Mollie was one of my faves, and I just recently discovered this channel. These interviews are everything, and can't get enough tea!! *Especially* Tyra and Janice tea!!!
I think it's because of how she mentioned, she was being too aware that this is reality tv and probably came off as too self controlled, like not giving the cameras the crazy they want for tv. In the end it turned out to be the best decision for her.

There have been great pockets of high fashion contestants in different seasons (c16, c9, c7, c2, c10, c11, c4) but for me Cycle 6 probably have hte strongest potential of overall modelesque contestants!
Yeah, I agree C6 was my favorite cast as far as having a group with strong potential and a nice variety of looks. (Not sure I see that potential with C4, though.)
@@Mechum22 I think they had really pretty faces and some model thin bodytypes on cycle 4 (like naima and kahlen, brittany, keenyah, cristina, tiffany, michelle, brandy, rebecca, iulvy) but i think the low budget photoshoots did them dirty. But also I personally like c4 because of naima and kahlen haha.

Adrianne Curry (the very first ANTM winner) has always been vocal about the scandal behind ANTM. Unfortunately, for her, she's bee blackballed and dubbed "crazy". So, her story tends to get swept under the rug.

One of my favorite interviews you’ve done: Mollie was just down to earth yet girl WORKED and continues to work with the model she’s currently repping. She seems like the sort of gal that based on how she was on the show you would think she’d be way too nervous to do something like this but once she got going it’s like “honey I’ve been letting this tea steep for 17 years and I didn’t even know it!”
Literally my favorite. I still remember how upset I was when she got eliminated, but then again, she didn’t need that show to thrive in the industry 🤘🏻

Yeah, both Danielle and Brooke said that Mollie Sue had a great personality that wasn't shown. Until I read her post show interview I didn't know that she and Danielle were best friends because they never showed them together except maybe twice. Brooke also said that she was good friends, with Mollie Sue, but that also wasn't shown.
Mollie Sue was robbed. But it’s true. She versus Jade? Jade was good television. And that’s what they wanted. Still Dani and Joanie were one of the best final two ANTM ever had. Ever.
My cousin Randee walked with Mollie Sue in 2008 for Tom Ford in NY Fashion Week, she just told me now. Mollie has the European features that are in demand especially for haute couture. No wonder she succeeded in the industry and made a name, well-deserved. 👏👏👏

This girl is so stunning and she seems unaware of exactly how beautiful she is. She also has more personality than 95% of the women who have been on the show. I seriously can’t take my eyes off of that face. I can totally see why she worked nonstop for many years after the show
Oh I think she knows that she looks good. I think the modeling industry does give some women a complex about their appearance and I can tell she’s experienced some of that. That face is just chef’s kiss… she something just north of androgyny and it’s extremely elegant.

Wow Mollie Sue is spot on about Gina how she was raised like a white girl! Clearly Gina had identity crisis and you can tell by the things she said at the audition, yes she recognized her appearance as Asian but she knew nothing about the culture aka what it means being an Asian! Like how you gonna praise and promote your culture but hating on your own people?!?? It is very common with Asians (and other races too) who grow up in the West having identity crisis, they lose touch with their original culture and oftentimes get whitewashed because that is the dominate society and it's easier for them to feel accepted if they act that way. I once encountered this Asian dude who only hang out with white people and he said shit like "I would never date Asian women because it feels like I am dating my cousins"... I was over there like, bruh your parents would be so ashamed that you not only think that but also have no problem saying it out loud...smh
Gina is East Asian and East Asians have always loved western culture its different with South Asians who focus more on preserving their own culture instead of adopting western values
But again we have to remember this was Mollie’s impression of Gina, not coming from Gina’s own mouth. It’s her opinion of what she experienced with Gina. I don’t think she hates her own people or are hating on them, I just think she wasn’t exposed to that culture while young so couldn’t embrace it. And so therefore, she’s ignorant to her racial identity. But that happens to anyone who isn’t descending from the dominant culture they grow up in. Anyone in America who is not white struggles with some form of internalized-racial struggle, and those belief systems can range from extreme (ex. anti-Blackness/violence) to complete ignorance to the heritage we come from, due to the fact our upbringing doesn’t promote that understanding.

Ugh I cannot stand the "who is she/we forget about her edit." Let me see.. so contestant does not produce required drama.. 🤔 let's just forget about all obvious, actual model potential and make some shit up about her personality. (Mollie was one of my faves, and I just recently discovered this channel. These interviews are everything, and can't get enough tea!! *Especially* Tyra and Janice tea!!!
I think it's because of how she mentioned, she was being too aware that this is reality tv and probably came off as too self controlled, like not giving the cameras the crazy they want for tv. In the end it turned out to be the best decision for her.

There have been great pockets of high fashion contestants in different seasons (c16, c9, c7, c2, c10, c11, c4) but for me Cycle 6 probably have hte strongest potential of overall modelesque contestants!
Yeah, I agree C6 was my favorite cast as far as having a group with strong potential and a nice variety of looks. (Not sure I see that potential with C4, though.)
Also never forget that’s one of the cycles where every single girl looked totally different.
@@Mechum22 I think they had really pretty faces and some model thin bodytypes on cycle 4 (like naima and kahlen, brittany, keenyah, cristina, tiffany, michelle, brandy, rebecca, iulvy) but i think the low budget photoshoots did them dirty. But also I personally like c4 because of naima and kahlen haha.

Oh I think she knows that she looks good. I think the modeling industry does give some women a complex about their appearance and I can tell she’s experienced some of that.

Wow Mollie Sue is spot on about Gina how she was raised like a white girl! Clearly Gina had identity crisis and you can tell by the things she said at the audition, yes she recognized her appearance as Asian but she knew nothing about the culture aka what it means being an Asian! Like how you gonna praise and promote your culture but hating on your own people?!?? It is very common with Asians (and other races too) who grow up in the West having identity crisis, they lose touch with their original culture and oftentimes get whitewashed because that is the dominate society and it's easier for them to feel accepted if they act that way. I once encountered this Asian dude who only hang out with white people and he said shit like "I would never date Asian women because it feels like I am dating my cousins"... I was over there like, bruh your parents would be so ashamed that you not only think that but also have no problem saying it out loud...smh
Gina is East Asian and East Asians have always loved western culture its different with South Asians who focus more on preserving their own culture instead of adopting western values

But again we have to remember this was Mollie’s impression of Gina, not coming from Gina’s own mouth. It’s her opinion of what she experienced with Gina. I don’t think she hates her own people or are hating on them, I just think she wasn’t exposed to that culture while young so couldn’t embrace it. And so therefore, she’s ignorant to her racial identity. But that happens to anyone who isn’t descending from the dominant culture they grow up in. Anyone in America who is not white struggles with some form of internalized-racial struggle, and those belief systems can range from extreme (ex. anti-Blackness/violence) to complete ignorance to the heritage we come from, due to the fact our upbringing doesn’t promote that understanding.
