The third and final game in the Spyro PS1 trilogy, Spyro: Year of the Dragon stars our beloved purple dragon and a bunch of other new characters on a quest to rescue the dragon eggs stolen by the Sorceress and her Rhynoc army. Because of there being new playable characters, there will also be many gameplay styles showcased, for better or worse. Insomniac Games put everything they could into this as one last hurrah for the Spyro series (or, at least was supposed to be).

Something I wish Spyro would do that he did in 1 but not 2 and 3 is talk, like other than just in the cut scenes like how he talked to some of the dragons he saved.
We really only have Spyro responses in text to Moneybag when choosing to pay or not.

I agree. Spyro’s spoken dialogue was actually one of the things I enjoyed in later games. (Yes, that includes Enter the Dragonfly.)
