Yea id try to get the refund as well even if its past the 2 hours I think they will do it with how the devs lied about the game and what it was supposed to be. Just say it was a scam and im sure you will get it back
Bought the game, tried the game, refunded the game. The Day Before (refund) should be the appropriate name.

I don’t know if it has a name for the pack but I know there were videos of developers reacting to the original gameplay video in February that said the same thing about many vehicles and buildings placed in the world. Don’t know how you buy them but I absolutely believe that’s what they did. They used AI for the voice overs. Trash copy and paste design at its finest.
Nothing will make you feel more like a zombie apocalypse survivor then buying a brand new sport car.
Before it was released I saw some ppl in Twitch chat warning that these devs had other failed projects that they early released and abandoned for quick cash. I'm not surprised this is yet another one of their same scams...

Thank you for this, saved me some money. Before it was removed from Steam for a couple of months, they advertised Co-Op gameplay, where I was hoping that you and a buddy could play PvE vs AI zombies and survivors. Dodged a bullet! (Pun intended!)

The fact is they were meant to scam, and ended up making the cheapest game possible just so they can say they didn't scam. I honestly love the tarkov aspect, however it's crazy because they said nothing about that type of gameplay, i do like the map and how massive it is. however without friends this game will be extremely dificult with how unrealistic the gunplay is and how many zombies and player's are around in 1 game. the 300$ unreal map asset is crazy though.
I heard the CEO said on the day it released just a couple hours before that the game was not an extraction shooter lol.

Just as a wild guess. The 6 months sounds like how much time they allotted to appear like they are developing the game. Put out several major updates, then no matter the state after the 6 months, slap a 1.0 on it and move on to the next thing.

That’s exactly what I would expect will happen if it were even a decent indie studio, but I don’t even expect that. I expect a couple more posts later about feedback and upcoming changes, and then they will disappear, make up a bunch of excuses why they couldn’t fix it, and take what money they could from people who didn’t get a refund.

I do love the Division just cause the coop camaraderie and was hoping this game would be like Div but with a lot of zombies like but….guess it wasn’t how I envisioned. I can the new trend in the gaming industry is the Cash Grab with a few exceptions.

Since Citites are highly dense populated areas, you would expect to encounter more than 12 zombies walking through the streets.

Do not disavow zombie games as a whole. That’s my favorite genre. Devs just need to do better. DONT over promise and try to be a little bit innovative.

They obviously put a lot of effort into the initial trailer and when that went viral they shit themselves and ultimately couldn't deliver what they advertised
I don’t know what more can be done with zombies. We’ve had like every version of zombies there can be. Running zombies, slow zombies, zombie swarms, acrobatic zombies, etc. the only thing devs can do is just improve gameplay fluidity, physics and graphics. The zombies genre is played out imo. I’m fatigued by zombies. The inability to provide variety to the zombie genre is huge reason why Resident Evil needed to evolve to mutated bioweapons. Just my opinion.
@@prohibitions1571 like you said though, zombies aren't really the issue it's when Devs like this just throw them in without any real effort or attempt to innovate or even make them interesting. They're just mindless, badly programmed and buggy bullet sponges.

Hell no, what we need are actually good zombie games with strong single player and coop playmodes. Good old Romero style zombies where the danger is in the amount of them.
Project Zomboid, Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead, 7 days to die. 3 of those accomplish that, in varying degrees of palatability.

I also seen that its starts in a non typical resolution. So they force you to change it and when you do it mines crypto. Read that in the steam reviews. Not sure if its true but its messed up if it is.
I could have single handily made this game in less then a year, but I guess we'll see how it turns within the next few months.

Just another lie in the long line of lies they have told. Everything up until a month ago was a lie. Every trailer, every detail about the game. I can’t tell if these guys believe their own lies or if they think everyone else is too stupid to know they are lying.
The reason it looks OK is because these are premade assets in Unreal Engine and they’re spawning in the bare minimum to make it functional. If they spawned in more zombies the performance would tank because there’s no optimization

The worst part is the game itself. The constant alarms sounding off, the terrible loot, connecting to servers after the first wave, the pointless building system, the barebones customization, the fetch quests, the UI, not being able to adjust fps, the cost to buy anything and the lack of zombies in the world itself. It’s not a game but a cash grab. 40 dollars for this bag off you know what.

It's a pretty boneheaded take to think that "zombies" is the problem with these games. Zombies is just something people want so badly that they will try any game with zombies. Adding zombies isn't the issue it's that stupid people keep buying games before reviews come out or before the game is truly vetted by players and reputable critics. Zombie games can work, it's got nothing to do with why games suck.

Imagine you are a dev. How would you make your zombies that would make everyone happy? Fast running zombie or barely walkin zombies? Strong bullet spongee zombies or one headshot to kill zombies? Smart or dumb zombies? Can zombies feel and work together or every zombie for themselves?
@@RenanMsV_YT If I was a game dev, my goal wouldn't be to make everyone happy. The zombies would only be implemented if they supported a gameplay loop that was core to the game. There are games with slow zombies that are good for the game. There are games with fast zombies that are good for the game. Some games successfully do both.

I now know I want more game reviews with a Facecam. It's nice to see that the reviewer doesn't look focused or excited in a gunfight, but instead looks bored and detached. Not good for the game obviously, but great to get a sense of quality, or at least the lack of quality.
So what exactly is it the devs have done the last couple of years? Because with the used assets and stuff this is just some kind of school project, this doesn’t take years

No, zombie/survival should not be abandoned , it can be done, just no one has successfully done it yet.
Stalker was done, long ago which is probably the best "survival" series of games to date , a real zombie/survival game could be done still yet.

So I'm confused, the alarms going off implies that the zombie invasion just happened, but where are the zombies. Also how is there an entire settlement already set up when its been such a short amount of time that peoples store alarms and shit arent even off yet. That relly kills any realism of the environment makes absolutely no sense. Just like Dead matter when cars still have their headlights and shit on like bro those will kill your battery in an hour let alone weeks months or years wtf
I think we deserve a really good Walking Dead zombie survival game. Until then I think we as a gaming community our hunger will never be quenched.
we really need to start holding these devs accountable for this type of thing. We need to stop buying these games before they show us legit gameplay no more preordering broken games no more buying dlcs. show them with our wallets. these type of games would stop being made if we stopped buying them and showing them we wont be taken advantage of. so glad i didnt buy into this scam
Honestly, the only people to blame is the people that play games. Don't buy anything on fist day, wait for some reviews and make the best decision if it's worth it. Look at all the dummies that bought MW3 and spent a 100 for a single player that was horrid. The players enable these developers to keep doing the same thing.

The amount of people that bought the game and spent more hours than the refund grace period allows purely for content are the main and only contributors to game's financial success. Nothing against DD, he took the responsibility as someone with a huge reach and audience. Anyone else should not give Mytona/Fntastic any money at all.

@@lukeGGlee The gameplay may be legit but it is not what they have told or shown us in the past. It looks nothing like the gameplay trailers before. The gunplay, the AI, the gameplay, none of them looks the same.
You cannot say it's not a scam just because they made a playable game. Bait and switch is still a fraud and a scam. As long as you keep passing it off as "welp they needed more time" when they clearly couldn't do it in the first place, while making false advertising at the same time for 5 years, more developers and publishers will keep pulling this sh off in the future.

open world zombie apocalypse does not need to go away, we just need someone to make a good one. H1Z1 (Just Survive) was awesome until Daybreak ruined it. The premise is there, we just need someone to know how to actually make one. No other game I have wanted than a proper open world zombie apocalypse that is not DayZ, PJ or 7DTD, all of which im really not a fan of for various reasons

There is one thing I wanna mention, 3rd Person Shooters CAN work when done RIGHT. The issue: Almost no one does it right. SCUM is the only 3rd Person FPS that does it well. When in 3rd person, your viewpoint on objects/persons that your characters eyes physically cannot see is HEAVILY blurred, making it impossible to cheese around corners.
They simply should have used the time to improve and flesh out Propnight. That would have been better invested...

I was hoping to see the country side more then the city. This had to be a 15$ game max.. Zombie survival games should be made. Aventually Someone some day will make a decent one. Now As an Indie developer with a survival game three year project in the works I have to say that this is unforgivable . The game mechanics should be crisp by now.
I wish they'd take the zombie genre and turn it into a SHTF scenario, where society has collapsed and you have to find supplies to survive. The story could be anything from a nuclear blast to economic collapse, or whatever. The zombie part though I think is a bit over done.
