    The best vid I found on repair a hole in a metal door. Installed a new door handle last week. The new one is slightly shorter than the previous one. So I need to cover the drill hole. I need to paint the door anyways. Very helpful!!!

      That’s a “punch”
      They come in all sizes and styles. That was a very common flat faced punch you can get it in a little set at Home Depot, Lowe’s, harbor freight for $10-20

    This video was great! Everything worked fine for us except the bondo with gardener keeps showing through. We did two coats of primer then two coats of blue paint and thought we were done. Woke up this morning and the bondo is showing through. We just primed again. Is this normal?

    • @getitdonehomerepair
      @getitdonehomerepair  4 года назад

      No that is not normal. The only thing I can think of is that the bondo was not sanded to be even with the door. Thanks for watching.

    You would get more work time if you used less hardener. You used about double what you need. The key is to make a line from the center of your glob to the outside. That is all you need.
