@@atharifar it called step7 micro, and they do not no. Its very similar to to simatic manager. Without all the wincc and scout cross management. You will also need a PPI cable to program with it.
Hi Golam, You are not the first to have this problem. Siemens has a process to recover/restore lost or damaged licenses. Follow the procedure here: support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/772175/how-do-you-restore-defective-license-keys-and-authorizations-?dti=0&lc=en-WW. You should also have your license number and if possible, the certificate of authenticity that was on the cover of your license folder that contained the USB stick. Once the license has been copied to a computer, the USB stick is pretty much empty and not of great use, as you have found. At the link above, there is a PDF file that you should fully fill out and attach to your support request. This will really speed up the process!
Hi there, Great question since Siemens S5 PLC is over 30 years old and still out on the market working! Unfortunately, Siemens S5 PLC are not supported by Siemens anymore. But there are still several of these controllers out in operation. Some third-party companies are still supporting this product. Here is a link to one of them for your review. www.ibhsoftec.com/epages/63444704.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/63444704/Categories/Produkte/Software Happy learning!
Hi there, Thank you for your question. Step 7 Professional and PCS7 are not the same software. PCS7 has the features of Step 7 Professional but PCS7 has more power in programming than S7 Pro I will call it. PCS7 costs more, and it’s made for large plant integration of many machinery controls with one platform. You would not use PCS7 to program, for example, a pick-and-place robotic system for manufacturing. PCS7 will cost lots more, and it's overkill in programming power. Whereas, you would use Step 7 for that type of application Engineering design. I have question regarding Wincc? What's the difference b/w WinCC/RC and WinCC/RT? Can I use one WinCC/RC in my engineering laptop to deploy multiple WinCC/RT projects at different sites?
WinCC/RC is the configuration software. You need 1 WinCC/RC license to develop the application. An application developed with WinCC/RC can be deployed on station with a compatible WinCC/RT license. WinCC/RT is runtime only and does not support changes to the application.
You can use the engineering runtimeconfiguration (rc) license to build multiple visualization projects, the individual project at individual sites all need their own runrime license (rt), also notice the respective powertags that fmdiffer throughout projects
With STEP 7 Basic, you can program and download to the Siemens Basic HMI Panels. Programming and support of Siemens Confort Panels requires a version of WinCC beyond the Basic version.
I came across a S7 200 for the 1st time today. Talk about a blast from the past!
Does Siemens still support S7 200? what software can you use to program S7 200?

Wow! You're keeping bears now. Nice! If not for your voice, I wouldn't have recognized you.
With step 7 basic can I programming hmi siemmens or need I to buy another software? Thanks
I think you may need winCC runtime
STEP 7 Basic includes SIMATIC WinCC Basic for configuration of the SIMATIC Basic Panels.
Dear sir is it possible to get internship under your guideline????
Hi there,
Thanks for your comment! We currently don't provide any internships.
We appreciate your interest!
Could you make a video about wiring S7300 PLC card
Hey!
Thanks for your comment and your suggestion. I will pass this on to our course developers!
Thanks for sharing and happy learning!
Thank you for the video. If I buy Step 7 Basic, can I use software for the HMI Basic and Comfort Panels?
With STEP 7 Basic, you can program and download to the Siemens Basic HMI Panels. Programming and support of Siemens Confort Panels requires a version of WinCC beyond the Basic version.
And how much is the cost for win cc?
please put one video for how to draw new trends
Thanks for your support and feedback! We'll surely keep that in mind. Thank you!
It's very nice video
Thank you, Husnain!
