    do you have any advice on how to do this with a 6 day star blanket? the one by betty mcknit?

      Actually on further thought could you crochet edge bits to fill in the gaps do it makes a circle? A circular fabric backing would be pretty easy?

      On the sewing machine? I would usually use 2-3 for straight stitch on my machine but it might be different to yours…
