Fun fact: If you have a radio headset and turn it on a long with the Tesla coil, the radio antenna will pick up the radio interference given off by the high voltage plasma. Even if you have the copper wires covered as to eliminate the plasma. High voltage will generate electromagnetic waves which are picked up by the radio, and any conductive objects within it's vicinity. That's why it's dangerous for people with any electronic or metal implants to go near it while it's running, and why electronic devices can't go near it either. The voltages induced in any electronic devices, even if it is off can permanently damage phones, and cause failure of implants.
So if my phone is 2 feet away will it damage it?

So I got this tesla coil today and within 2 minutes of playing with it, the cheap ass power supply started shorting and wouldn’t work anymore, so if anyone gets this product, get a better quality power supply
I found one on Amazon for $83 and then right under it was the same exact one but for $32
I gót one from AliExpress for 23$ total

@@kamera-petterandbubbengamings high voltage (>60kV), but low amperage and high frequency, so fairly safe. We're talking around 1mA for extremely short durations, and it travels mostly superficially (along the skin). It takes at least 10 times that amperage to get close to causing harm; you can feel discomfort or pain at around 5mA, and pain around 10mA (increasing to severe pain around 50-150mA).
0.5A (500mA) is when you get into lethal territory where the heart can be affected, with 1-10A being considered a fatal current ranges. Factoring in frequency, there isn't a significant amount of charge that builds up with this coil.
Current (or charge, rather) is what kills, not voltage. That's why tasers (the ones that fire the barbs) and stun guns (the ones you press against the body) are around 50kV at 2mA with lower frequency and longer duration, delivering significantly greater charge than something like this Tesla coil.
This is closer to those electric shock games or toys, where you play to see who can hold on the longest, than to a taser. Like static electricity, the arc (spark) looks like a lot, but is really very little energy. Voltage is what allows the arc to occur. Hence the high voltage needed. Arcs are commonly misunderstood to mean more power, when it simply means more voltage.

Haven’t tried other music besides square wave. Let me know if it works!!
Basically, it won't play other than square wave, because it needs to recognize which is 0 and which is 1 (Zap). That's how it works. The peaks have to be equal for it to work.

@@trxzz6764 The arcs are fine to touch but the needle that gives off the arc might bite ya pretty good but I don't know. The arcs feel like you know that warming feeling at first with baby oil. Just like that and kind of pleasant feeling.

After reading the comments and doing some search seems this product it's not safe for exhibition in a room with more electronic products. Also the ozone part or chlorine gas sounds dangerous.

The lightbulb, where did you get it? It looks exactly like one i saw in a plasma globe kit, but i can't find it anywhere else
I don't own one of these but I can say it looks just like a LED light bulb, the decorative type

@@Fannyschmeller2002 It's an LED bulb. They make decorative LED bulbs that use yellow LED strips that look like filaments. Very common, I have some. Pause the video at 5:10 you can even see the actual LED "filament" light up
