Boney M. - Rasputin on singing tesla coils. Please, subscribe to collaborate even more with new videos.
For those who did not understand what is going on this video, here's a brief explanation: The main loud music really comes from the tesla coil sparks. They are literally playing the music due to the programmed phase, pulse width and firing frequency! So, there are no speakers, no audio / video special effects. It looks even better in person and sounds almost the same (just without percussion track that starts at 0:10).
I hope you all enjoy this version where I worked hard for musical tesla coils!

Ever since I found out about music can be played on Tesla coils, I have always had a thought about how if someone ever made a weather controlling machine, they’d probably be playing music on lightning bolts during thunderstorms and people around for miles would be so baffled and confused how and why the thunderstorm suddenly sounds like songs. I imagine someone would play Rasputin in Russia during a thundersnow.
Hopefully if technology ever gets that good one day it’ll happen one legend will come up and be like you know what we’re gonna listen to such and such today

This sounds like boss music. In fact, I’ll do Rasputin’s stats:
Rasputin:
-Magical abilities: heal other team members. (In this case the Tsar’s son.)
-Attack: Becomes a ghost and deals 50 damage. (Oversimplified reference.)
-Immunities: Cyanide, 7.91 MM pistol rounds, Melee attack (fist punch.), And dumbbells. (all of the things used to try and kill him.)
-Wildcard: DOSENT FRICKING DIE WHEN HE IS SUPPOSED TO. (Yep, he really doesn’t want to die.)
-Quirk: Wife haver= Steal yo girl. (Had- uh- “feelings” for a lot of women when at parties.”
Weak against: Water (It was the river where he was thrown to that apparently killed him.)
And he STILL escaped the trap that sunk him to the bottom, even if he still didn't survive the water itself

If I were his neighbor, I wouldn't even be mad when this jams in the middle of the night.
Omni-man going around thinking he's the strongest on Earth, then in the distance he hears this and sees Rasputin come up over the Horizon doing the dance. For the first time in his millennia long life, he is terrified.
1900s: we're gonna use tesla's theories to provide free electricity to the world.
2020:
I mean, tesla's theory was wrong. He was simply calculating on assumptions that were incorrect (that the atmosphere was able to conduct electricity, which for any practical application it cannot). That being said, his IDEA was right. And at the end of the day, its the idea that wasn't sitting well with people.
We still have to solve the energy loss issue to really get into the jist of tesla's global and free power grid, but even if we could, we would probably face the exact same oposition he did back in the day. Most fossil fuels live on the fact that we simply can't, for example, pump all the energy we need from completly covering a desert in solar pannels and redistributing that across the planet. The energy loss is simply too much. Nuclear would of course be a very good option for countries that don't have a desert nearby for solar power, but well, that got nicely brushed off the side. So these countries, that don't have renewables enought to support their baseload, and don't have or destroyed their existing nuclear park have to rely on gas, oil and coal for their baseline, to the delight of the countries that provide it.
@TGDM Show eh, yeah that wasn't needed. I guess just going through increasing pandemic fueled frustration with things happening around. just so much idiocy getting in the way of solving issues, just like back in the days. We have enough problems as is, and as an engineer i am increasingly angry that we keep throwing more at the pile. Still, i don't think like removing it. At this point it would be moot as well.

Imagine having these on top of a house at a block party (with all the necessary safety precautions of course). Tesla coils are loud, and it’s a pretty good sound. Then you can use regular speakers when these need to cool down.

To get ideal sound quality you have to play with it a bit, but it's essentially not a special thing to make them play music

That moment at 0:51 where it climbs up for the drop sounds amazing
The way this sounds so much like chiptune almost makes me convinced that the sound processors in the old machines were actually miniature tesla coils.
The methodology those sound processors used probably isn’t too different from how sound is encoded to play on Tesla coils.
I think it's because chiptune songs usually use square wave sounds, and the tesla coils use square waves to make the audio
